We had a fabulous time! The cabin deck was where we lived most of the time. Sunrise with coffee, beautiful vista with changing light-scape all day, wine at sunset and then the stars! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was efficient and the host was attentive. We will be back!!!
Check in was very easy. Great directions. Kitchen had everything we needed for great family dinners. Front porch was perfect for morning coffees and evening sunsets as well as all times between.
We enjoyed our stay. The views from the front deck were breathtaking. The cabin was centralized between Asheville, Cherokee, and Maggie valley. The owner was friendly and welcoming and his communication with us was spot on. I would recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a weekend get away or a week long vacation.
Bridgitte, we are glad your enjoyed your stay at Misty View Cabin and its closeness to the Blue Ridge Mountains, its highway and the Smoky Mountains. That is another plus of our location. Please do come back soon.

We loved it! Saturday night we decorated the tree and had a great stay.
The only thing we missed was a fireplace, and a hot tub, but the cabin itself had a view of the mountains to die for.

Mark, glad you enjoyed your stay at Misty View Cabin. Please come back.
Jorge was very nice and responded immediately when we needed him. The cabin and view were great. The only problem was that we booked the cabin for four people and ended up with another couple coming with us and we were charged a signific
ant additional amount of money. Most cabins charge by the number of bedrooms and not number of guests. We do recommend this cabin. It was a great stay. We enjoyed it very much. I don't like booking through vrbo, too much red tape and extra fees.
I rented this property to go to my brothers annual July 4th cookout. The stay was amazing and the town of Waynesville is very fun to visit as well. If you like bbq there is a lot of great bbq restaraunts in town. The property is very clean and well kept. The beautiful views from the deck can’t be beat. If you love coffee in the morning, grab a cup and sit on the deck a experience why they call it Misty View. If you enjoy wildlife, you won’t be disappointed, we were able to get many pictures of wild turkeys, birds of all types, rabbits, etc. Our family will be back as soon as possible. Thanks Jorge for such a great place.

About the host

I am an Architect, currently living in South Florida. I have been coming to the Smoky Mountains for a long time and could not resist the temptation of having my own cabin in the mountains. I come to Misty View often and I use these opportunities to get intimately involved with nature while reading, meditating or practicing yoga with the incredible mountain views of the front deck. Sometimes admittedly; I work remotely while connecting to my desk computer back home via Internet. It never fails; at the end of each staying I feel an amazing feeling of happiness; it is scientifically proven that human beings in contact with nature for a few days increases the levels of dopamine; a motivational component of reward-motivated behavior naturally produced in our brains. Experience this yourself in Misty View Cabin and remember: You can also finds us on line.
Why they chose this property
Misty View Cabin offers stunning views of the mountains with a unique music background of creeks rolling downstream. It is a unique experience during any season. You can also finds us on line.
What makes this property unique
