At the Beach, Large Eco House & Pool

Peaceful, large private home with ocean view AT THE BEACH! Spacious 2-story house with 3rd story look-out tower, 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms. Large view windows, tiled throughout, tiled wrap-around patio and pool area, private path to the beach. Our backyard leads straight down to the beach and breaking waves. Ecological construction: built with tile, bamboo, concrete, wood & glass, clerestory roof designed to cool itself in the tropics, fresher air, fewer toxins, clean & healthy space. In addition to 3 bedrooms we have an extra twin bed in the common area.

Costa Rica vacation

We were in Los Pargos for a family wedding at the nearby Hotel Playa Negra, and really enjoyed our time at this VRBO. The listing was very accurate and the location couldn't be beat. Our small granddaughter, daughters, and the two of us took great advantage of the pool. Joff was immediately available for any questions we had. I would recommend Casa Verde to other friends and family.

Playa Negra Perfection

Fantastic ocean side casa. This was perfect for our family of four and you could even have a couple more family members. House is a nice size. Walk right down to the beach. Surf boogie board and sand castle. Home feels very safe. The property managers is easy to communicate and responds quickly

Beach house

The property was in a beautiful location and we had a great time. The listing was inaccurate in some regards but we made it work. Only 2 of the three bedrooms had air conditioning. There was no hairdryer as we were told but the property manager brought one over to us. There were several restaurants nearby and the beach was just steps away. All in all a great place to stay.

Our listing says: "Air Conditioning" Description: "In 2 bedrooms" . That's the best we can do within VRBO parameters. We have guests year-round and sometimes guests take small items (like hair dryers, towels, pool toys). We do our best to keep it stocked with essentials.

Relax and restore in Playa Negra

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Casa Verde. Airy, comfortable, and room to spread out. Best part was being surrounded by nature, listening to the ocean, and the ease of walking down to the beach. Pura vida!

My spouse and I started visiting Tamarindo , Costa Rica when it was a tiny town in 1995. As Tamarindo boomed, we decided to build our own home in a mellow & secluded area.

Why they chose this property

We built the home with the natural environment of the tropics in mind. It stays cool and breezy. Playa Negra, Los Pargos, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Gated community of Caramar. Secluded & peaceful area, the last house south along the beach - few cars, little development, helpful and kind locals. A short walk along the beach to Hotel Playa Negra. International Airports: LIR 1.5 hour drive, SJO 4.5 hour drive.

What makes this property unique

We have a local host who is American and fluent in Spanish who knows all the best delights of the season. Each season brings a different variety of beauty: monkeys, butterflies, rain, sun, tide pools.
