The Jewel in the Sky really sparkles! Great space with everything you could think of, cozy and quiet location, still walkable to Hawthorne (for Albina Press coffee of course) or Division. AC and ceiling fan did great during the heat wave, EV charger was a big plus, and all the light switches were labeled!! Angela the host was very communicative and accommodating. We had an excellent stay and would easily book again. Go to Portland!

The loft was amazing. Exactly as described and shown in photos. There were so many ways in which Angela went above and beyond. She left fruit and snacks for us; she had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, down to a milk frother; she had umbrellas and workout equipment for us to use. I could go on. The neighborhood was also fantastic with easy parking and quick access to great shopping and restaurants. Communication was excellent. Check in/out was seamless. We will absolutely stay again.

Great Spot in Convenient Location

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and our second visit was as good as the first. Angela, the owner, is easy to reach, personable, and has thought of everything one might want or need during a stay. The space is attractive, comfortable, and spacious, with privacy and nice natural light and views. The neighborhood is cute and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and a grocery store. We hope to return again!

A great place to stay, easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Angela was very personable and when the power went out she sent her husband with a small battery pack. Fruit and a few breakfast items were available. I would highly recommend 1915 47th Street

Just right

Angela's Jewel in the Sky is nestled in a quiet neighborhood lush with amazing yard landscaping and gardens. The space was very clean, very modern and very comfortable. It also affords a good deal of privacy as it is not connected to the house. Our stay was only 3 nights but we could have easily stayed a month, for us this little jewel was just right.

Aw, totally warms my heart! And I love that you used the new name, Jewel in the Sky, in your review. Full circle for me! I'm glad you appreciated the cleanliness - I'm a bit of a stickler on that, but I believe it's part of being able to truly relax. And you came at the perfect time of year - the gardens are definitely bountiful right now - so nice you enjoyed it. We welcome you back anytime (the chickens enjoyed strutting their stuff for you too)!

Above & Beyond!

I can't say enough about how great this property is. It's the perfect size and location for staying in Portland. Best of all, the amenities are well marked and all the information in using them is provided. The owner is a true gem. We had an unforeseen issue that no one could control; but Angela went above and beyond what one would expect. I would certainly recommend this place to others. I will definitely stay here again.

Thank you again, Brandon, for your understanding about our unexpected neighborhood power outage. There was a massive fire at our local electrical substation the week prior to your arrival, and unfortunately, the repair process caused the electricity to go down a second time, the night of your arrival. I was so thankful for your "roll with it attitude" and was glad to make it right for you. You're a gem too!
