This FULLY renovated property has new kitchen, big living room, 3 cozy bedrooms with full (double) beds & new bathroom. Four beach passes, PRIVATE PARKING SPOT, linens/towels/paper products PROVIDED. Sit on front porch, or take short walk to boardwalk, games, restaurants & aquarium. Train station is 1 mi. away. Smart lock access, WIFI, TV, beach toys, BBQ, washer/dryer & AC also included. 2 beach bikes on property!

*Guests required to have positive reviews to book, be minimum 25 yrs old, be a part of the group staying on property and provide ID. Town requires names and permanent residence of all guests in group. NO PETS

There is an Over Occupancy Penalty of $500 per person/per night for every undeclared guest that violates the fire code maximum. Guests exceeding occupancy must leave the property immediately.

We grew up in the local area and spent summers at Point Pleasant Beach. With extended family in the area, we thought it was a great idea to buy a cottage close to the beach. This 1934 duplex saw a lot of life at the beach but by the time we got to it, the poor house needed major construction. We have kept the original 1934 layout but have upgraded it with beautiful porches and decks, and beach style finishes.

Why they chose this property

Our duplex is seven cottages away from the sand & boardwalk. We've done a FULL renovation to the studs on this 1934 cute duplex, with each private unit now at approx. 1,000 sq ft of living space & with heavy insulation between both units for noise reduction and increased privacy. Each unit has a private entrance. There’s a roomy front porch where you can relax with coffee or a blended drink & catch the ocean breeze. We provide ALL the bed linens, towels and kitchen utensils, so all you need is your family and bathing suits. This unit is light and bright, with a roomy general living area to spend time in and watch TV. The sleeper sofa and couch allow for more guests to sleep in this area. The place features three small, cozy bedrooms each with a full bed, dresser and luggage rack for your stuff. The beautiful, brand-new kitchen is ready for you to cook your heart out and features a cute table with seating for 4 surrounded by huge windows. New bathroom features narrow shower stall, sink, toilet and IN-unit laundry machines. ****New ductless AC/heat wall unit in main living area and kitchen area, plus individual smaller, table -top cooling units in each bedroom (no window AC units)***** & WiFi add to the comfort and convenience. The duplex features an off-street parking space for each unit or you can travel by train to the station just a mile away! If you have a large group, then we suggest that you email us about booking both units of the duplex, as it offers togetherness BUT privacy as you retreat to your own floor at the end of the day!

*NO PARTIES OR NOISE: This is a quiet, private lane that features year-round residents. If you are looking for a property to host large and / or noisy parties then please look elsewhere to book. If you go over occupancy, you will be asked to leave and your booking with be cancelled without refund.

What makes this property unique

This duplex is within quick walking distance of the beach, boardwalk, ice cream shops and pizzerias. You don't have to do the long, 'sun scorched walk' for blocks after a day on the beach. Our property is 180 ft off the boards on the beach block. It features an outdoor shower with hot /cold water, BBQ grill and shared outdoor corner patio area with picnic table to roll up your sandy self for lunch.

* This duplex is located on a quiet beach lane with year round owners. If you are looking to host large and/or noisy parties, then please look elsewhere.

*All guests will need to disclose names and addresses to host, which will be submitted to town prior to their stay as required by local ordinance.

* Property manager may access outside shared spaces during your stay to water bushes, pick up stray garbage in parking lot, update propane tanks or for pest control.

**We clean our home with hospital grade cleaners and finish by electro-static spraying the high touch surfaces and interior areas with EPA approved Vital Oxide, which kills a variety of germs including MRSA, H1N1, & SARS-COV strains. (Hospitals and airlines are using the same technique on their equipment and cabins.)
