About this property
Clean modern studio, 6 min drive to U of M!
Modern, spacious studio within walking distance of Plum Market, LA Fitness, and Homes Brewery. Downtown Ann Arbor/University of Michigan only a 6 min. drive (or a 12 min. bike ride). Sleek polished concrete floors combined with pops of color and wood give this space a unique, fun and modern vibe. Relax in the spa-like rain shower, and enjoy the gel memory foam queen bed. Unwind in the outdoor space surrounding a fire table. Enjoy nearby restaurants or use the kitchenette for a simple meal.
The space
600 sq ft guest suite located in the walk out basement of my home. Its separated from my other living space, and has its own full bath and fully stocked kitchen, as well as washer and dryer.
The backyard is an urban oasis. Although its a shared space with my wife and I, we use it sparingly, except to accompany our dog Toby during his squirrel-chasing adventures.
Road/highway noise should be expected. Additionally, neighboring houses are visible.
There is a 1 car garage for your use. Please park in here to avoid clutter on the shared driveway. We use this garage for some storage, but there is plenty of space for one car.
Although we are generally a quiet family, we do have a dog and are expecting a baby summer 2019. You will be able to hear some noise (Website hidden by Airbnb) living our life. Footsteps, occasional barks from my dog, etc. should be expected. This unit is not soundproof.
Finally, this unit is in our walkout basement. The temperature is on the colder side. We've placed space heaters in the unit in addition to the ability to control the temperature of the main HVAC unit.
