NICELY REMODELED TRANQUIL MOUNTAIN VIEW CONDO, SKI TO LIFTS.

This newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 full bath condo is an ideal location for skiing at World Class Heavenly Valley or enjoying the summer time at beautiful Lake Tahoe.

The Condo is located directly between two of Heavenly Valley's main Nevada Lodges. Ski right out the front door down to the beginner lift at Boulder Lodge or take a short walk down the street to ski to the Stagecoach high speed quad chair and full service lodge. A convenient shuttle is located steps away and can take you and pick you up from both Stagecoach or Boulder lodge.
A spacious and well appointed kitchen awaits to cook meals with a full size fridge with ice maker, gas stove top, oven and microwave, a gas grill BBQ on outside patio deck with mountain and partial lake views.
Relax after a full day on the mountains or out at the lake in the living space with fireplace and flat screen tv and a dining table that can seat 6. Three bedrooms have comfortable new beds, a king size in upper bedroom with full bath, downstairs has two bedrooms one queen bed and a twin over a full bunk bed in the other room. The downstairs has a full bath and laundry room for your use. The upstairs sofa turns into a double bed by the fireplace.
During the summer months enjoy hiking and mountain biking right outside the door with access to Tahoe's famous Rim and Van Sickle trails. There is also access to the community pool and hot tub year round, within a short walk away from condo.
Nearby there are ski rentals at Stagecoach Heavenly Sports and Ski School at Boulder lodge, both sell lift tickets. Ski rentals also nearby at BV Ski shop next to Tramway Market and a great bar and restaurant Fox & The Hound voted best BBQ in South Lake Tahoe. You are also just a 10 minute ride down to Heavenly Village with endless shops, restaurants, ice skating rink, movie theatre and of course home to 4 major casinos (Harrahs, Harveys, Ballys and Hard Rock). The Harvey's Lake Tahoe summer outdoor concert series is a gorgeous venue. Plus just of few blocks away are the beaches and access to beautiful Lake Tahoe.

We loved staying here. This is a hidden gem in Heavenly. Easy access to get to Boulder Lodge. Perfect for our family of four, and we could have accommodated more depending on sleeping arrangements. The rooms, view, and decor were perfect for our ski vacation and in great condition as described. Definitely one of the best finds we have experienced on VRBO. We hope to visit again sometime. Kathie and Mike were great hosts!

Very enjoyable stay. The property was well appointed, everything you'd need in the kitchen, nice towels and linens on beds. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive to any questions and concerns. Unfortunately, the snow came late to Tahoe this year and the Heavenly Nevada side was closed. If not, it we would have had direct ski access to the Stagecoach lift. We still had an amazing time hiking and getting a chance to ski on our final day(Christmas!) on the California side at Heavenly. I would definitely stay here again.

Heavenly Ski Trip

We had a wonderful time staying at Mike and Kathie’s vrbo. We had 5 adults stay in this condo and it was the perfect size! We loved that it was so close to the ski lift and there was a hot tub close by. I highly recommend trying Base Camp Pizza and Fox & Hound Smokehouse when you’re in town.

Perfect Tahoe Experience

Well appointed condo with cool artwork on the walls & beautiful wood detailing really exuded Lake Tahoe ambiance. Found the route to/from South Lake Tahoe east to navigate despite what a couple others described as challenging…. Essentially 3 roads to get to condo… just followed the curves.

Perfect and convenient location skiing with small children.

The property is perfectly located on heavenly mountain. It is an easy ski out right onto the slopes. Easy enough for my small children ages 6, 7, 10 who are blue trail skiers. The ski in from the mountain was also easily accessible. You are about 13 minutes from the downtown area. And and about an hour from Reno airport. The condo is wonderful with everything you would need to cook. The washer and dryer worked perfectly. The beds are also so comfy and I had a spinal fusion so I am picky. The house is so so clean. The views from the condo are also spectacular. You can see lake tahoe on a clear day. We loved it here and will book again for next year.

Wonderful Stay

Took our annual trip to Tahoe with the family. First time staying at the summit. Very beautiful views. Very cute condo. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen was nice with all new appliances. Kitchen had lots of cooking pots and pans. The TV was nice but wish the rooms had tvs as well. No air conditioning but two of the bedrooms had great ceiling fans and extra floor fans in the bottom bedrooms. The living room is small but fit my family of 4. Owners were easy to reach if u need them. They have beach or pool towels and a few beach chairs. All in all, great condo!

Gorgeous views, great rooms

We absolutely loved this place! It was warm, cozy, spacious, and well-equipped, which turned out to be quite fortunate since we got snowed in for 2 of the 3 days we had planned to ski. Parking wasn't a problem, but of course if you're there during the winter you'll absolutely want 4WD with winter tires or snow chains. Our one complaint is that the listing states there is a "community hot tub". Technically, this is true, but the hot tub is NOT what most would consider to be in the community -- it is over a 10-minute walk on treacherous single-lane vehicle roads, or a 4-5 minute drive, both of which are pretty difficult to handle during a typical winter day in Tahoe. It's also shared with basically the entire neighborhood, so I do feel like that is a misleading way to describe the hot tub. If hot tub access is high priority for you, I wouldn't recommend this one.

Great Location and Place, but a few things to know

Place was beautiful. I try to consider all of the details when choosing a place, but had a couple of minor surprises. Partner and I stayed in separate rooms because I snore. Her downstairs and me upstairs. Her room was nice with a beautiful view, but don't turn on the ceiling fan. It is seriously out of balance, bent blades, and could fly off the ceiling. Other than that, the downstairs was great with it's own bath and shower for the downstairs. I stayed in the upstairs and the ceiling fan worked great. I was in desperate need of a humidifier for dry sinuses and found one in the closet. However, it worked for about a half hour and then the water started draining out of it onto the floor and thankfully the noise woke me up ad I was able to turn it off, stop the water from leaking, and clean up the mess. Couldn't get the humidifier to function properly without leaking, so if the humidifier is replaced, it will make a huge difference for anyone with dry sinus issues when staying at a high altitude. We loved hanging on the couch and using the fireplace. Not much space for more than 4 people to relax together and watch TV, but for 2 of us, the couch was fantastic. TV had satellite and plenty of channels. Kitchen and breakfast bar were great to have some cereal in the mornings. This condo is on the lower part of the building and has two other units above it. We heard every step that the people above us took and any water use above was very noisy(toilet, shower).

Very cozy, well maintained ski condo at Heavenly

Our family spent a snowy Christmas week at this condo. The space was very clean and the bathrooms were recently renovated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals and the outdoor grill is well maintained. Ski in / ski out (easier) is not for beginners and you have to like tree skiing, but it’s do-able. Would love to stay here again when we visit Heavenly.

Tranquil getaway nestled in the trees

We brought our children to Lake Tahoe for the first time to share this very special place with them. We selected this condo because the photos showed it offered a true Lake Tahoe feel, and it didn't disappointment It was cozy and private. The hosts were very responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We are an avid skiing family that has been skiing in the Tahoe area for 30 plus years. Heavenly Valley has been our go to resort for the past 10 years and love the diverse terrain and steeps of Mott/Killebrew Canyon.
We have also come to love the summer season here in Tahoe and that is why we decided to finally buy this condo here in Heavenly Valley. Please enjoy the area with us.

Why they chose this property

It is a perfect setting in the mountains as you are one with nature in this cabin up high in the High Sierra. The views are awesome and it is a very quiet setting.
