A really nice place to stay. Very spacious and clean.
This place has all the amenities you need for your trip. It was close to everything! Hot tub was awesome! Kitchen was fully equipped, plus everything you need to grill!
My husband and I stayed there in June with our two little Pugs. The house was very spacious and had a great, secure backyard for the dogs. Very much appreciated being able to park in the garage. Very nice neighborhood. We would stay here again.
Property was clean. Close to family we were visiting. Needs some fixing up. Blinds were broken in some rooms, need a couple more hand towels, stains on some of the bedding & when I asked how to use the ice maker, I received no response.
The home was wonderful. More than I expected. It was comfortable, clean and lots of room to spread out. We had everything we needed to cook there so we did not have to go out. But there is so many restrurants in the area to try out. I would rent this home again.
Darling MCM home in a great neighborhood. Clean and well maintained. Super easy check in and check out. We spent a lot of time outside on the covered patio. The backyard is cute, comfortable, and private with a magnificent tree. Grill works well and the hot tub is well maintained with crystal clear water and is kept at the perfect temperature. We had a whirlwind weekend for a graduation and the Sunflower was a peaceful, quiet home away from home to relax after hectic days.

Did not meet expectations!
While this property was in a safe neighborhood, and clean, it did not meet our expectations of a super host. If you are staying, make sure you bring a sleep mask because there are skylights everywhere and no curtains. We did not have dish towels, or any utensils in the kitchen. We did not have ice and when I asked the property manager about the ICE, he never responded. I did ask about dish towels and toilet paper and he put them on the front porch. While the hot tub is nice, the rest of the home is very old, but spacious. I would not stay here again, especially for the cost.

We booked this property for over a week based on the great online reviews. It was right in the area of town we wanted to be in. The house itself is tucked back in a quiet neighborhood and we felt safe here. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay. The entire home smelled musty and dank. No amount of airing the house out/Febreeze/candles helped. The carpeting is old, worn, and stained. There is a broken window in the kitchen, shredded screen doors for the sliding doors to the bedrooms...just didn't seem like a lot of upkeep to the property. Attempted to reach the property manager and didn't get any response back. The sheets on the beds were so worn that they were translucent; we could see the mattress through them and they were so uncomfortable. We actually slept in blankets we had brought with us in the car. There were two spoons in the entire kitchen so we had to buy plastic utensils to eat with. Didn't even dare to try the hottub given the rest of the house, and we had been looking forward to that.We travel often and so wanted to enjoy our stay here, but unfortunately, this is the first review we have ever written for a VRBO where we can definitively say we won't be coming back.
Visiting our daughter who is in college in Albuquerque. Made a complete Thanksgiving dinner. Had a wonderful visit. Second time there. Great location, and very pet friendly. These are both features that are important to us. Also plenty of parking for our vehicles. Plan to stay again.
Five of us came out to visit relatives in Albuquerque. The apartment was perfect. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice treat. We were close to everything. Our host was great.
Bed Bugs, moldy bathroom, cheap sheets, toilet that wasn’t running properly
As we drove from Las Vegas to Albuquerque we stayed at 5 different VRBOs. This property had quadrupled the price because of the balloon festival. By far the most expensive property and the worst. Bed bugs in two bedrooms, water had to be added to toilet in order for it flush, moldy bathroom, no ice or trays, holes in the wall and cheap worn out sheets that kept coming off the bed. Hosts that took over two days to respond and then gave us legalize about how we should have vacated if we felt threatened by the bed bugs. Unacceptable.
We really enjoyed everything about this home. Great area, close to everything. Lots of room, comfy beds and the hot tub was nice! We hope to return when we are back in the area.
My family and I had a nice stay at the Sunflower House. The house is very dated, which is evident by some mold and some fixtures not functioning as you think they should, but we figured it all out. The space is great. Our family of 4 felt very comfortable and had room to spread out. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is a little sparsely stocked, but there was enough for us to make breakfast. The hot tub was very popular with the kids -- it was clean and fully functional.
My new husband and I booked this trip for our post wedding staycation. We absolutely loved the house- vintage feel with just enough modernity to feel comfortable. Communication with our host was great. I had a few questions and CJ answered timely. All rooms were clean and basic necessities were provided. The hot tub and backyard patio were absolutely wonderful and when our friends came to visit they enjoyed as much as we did. We would absolutely book again.
