Comfortable spot to stay in great position for getting to the trailhead. As others have stressed--there is no separate bedroom, just a pull-out. Also, I heard a good amount of noise from adjacent rooms.Unfortunately I never received check-in instructions (probably this was just an issue with VRBO) and had to get the host's number from another guest in a different unit to get a hold of them.
This was my second stay here, and I love the little place. It’s perfect for a solo traveler like myself. Clean, great location, and will return again in the future.
Thank
I had not seen my daughter in months as she moved to the area for summer and was working locally. We hiked and drove around the scenic beautiful mountains. Went to Bethel Maine a few times. Fantastic stay ~ highly recommended! This place was perfect!
This place was nice! There is no bedroom but there is a sofa bed. It was a little uncomfortable but I was still able to go to sleep. The neighborhood was quiet. The host allowed me to extend my stay easily & was available early in the morning when I called. Great place for anyone in town for a couple of days or for work!
Cozy little apartment to sray in. Full kitchen, shower, full refrigerator, and a washer and dryer!
Great parking behind the property. Very quiet. No issues at all. Host was great!
Yes, the shower is relatively small, but it was able to comfortably accommodate my 225lb, 6ft frame.
The hand-held spigot and some creativity made it possible to wash the feet, since bending over in the shower was not feasible as in a tub/shower.
Overall, I was comfortable in the unit.

A Night I Hope to Forget
A studio queen unfortunately meant a very cramped apartment with a pullout sofa bed with very thin mattress and metal bars in our backs all night. On top of that, the two sinks and toilet bubbled, gurgled and exploded water until I shut off all valves. It was a nightmare. I wish I had read the reviews before booking I'll know better next time.
Called prop manager # to ask question received call back 2 days later. unconfortable sofa bed not real bed.wasn't aware of the Draconian rules on the wall warning people of $200 penalties for leaving dishes in sink.
The studio was very cute and perfect for my husband and I. Only problem is the pull out bed was not comfortable at all. We ended up going out and buying a 2" pad for the last two nights just so we could sleep and returned it on our way home. The mattress was so thin the bar went straight into your back while laying down. Owners may want to update the bed. Would love to stay at the location again but not in Unit 1 due to the bed.

The key code provided in 1st email from owner did not work. We were able to call him and he was able to provide us with a new, working code.
I did not reas the listing correctly. It is indeed a studio but I was expecting a separate area for a full bed, not a pull out. I'm sure it was comfortable but due to medical issues, a pull-out sofa will cause too much pain. The owner and I discussed this and I walked away. It was clean, but not what we expected.
Overall, the stay at this property was fine. The place was very clean. Unit 1 is on the first floor, and you could hear a child & adults walking/moving around very clearly. Luckily it did not affect our sleep, but promptly at 8 am they could be heard walking even with my white noise machine & ear plugs. We read the reviews about the sofa bed being very uncomfortable so we just brought our own air mattress to sleep on. The bathroom was FRIGID - the air conditioner was still in the window and should be removed to help with that. This is a fine stay if you are someone young and not planning on spending much time at the place but I would not be staying here again. The surrounding area of Berlin is definitely kinda sad - I'd rather stay in Gorham.

Consider a 2 star motel instead
This apartment is very small. The sofabed is extremely uncomfortable -- the mattress is thin and there are metal bars digging into your back and legs. The walls and floorboards are poorly insulated. I heard a toddler running back and forth in the apartment above. I could hear word for word the conversations of an insurance salesman in the apartment above. The shower is tiny -- suitable for children and petite adults only. The full size washer/dryer is the only redeeming feature. I booked the apartment for one month and left after 12 days! Consider a 2 star motel instead.
The bed was a tad uncomfortable but it’s a pull out couch so what can you really expect. They’ve really made the most of the space so it feels large and functional. Everything was very clean. The full kitchen and washer/dryer were great after traveling to feel more relaxed. Would definitely recommend! The owners were great and really polite as well.
Nice little place for 2. Sleeper sofa not good for people our age. Sore backs. The place was tight and warm with negative wind chills except AC unit in bathroom kept it very cold in there. Should have been removed for winter. NO dish cleaning accessories like a sponge or towel to dry dishes. I'd recommend to younger people who can do the sleep sofa and always eat out and don't need to do the dishes by hand.
This was a great place to stay if you're interested in heading out and exploring the White Mountains or other places in the area. The kitchen is well equipped for basic needs and everything was clean and comfortable.
For the price and location, this place can't be beat. We traveled to the White Mountains for hiking and found this small studio to be perfect for a trip where we're only really home to relax a bit in the evenings and sleep. It's stylish, comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped for making meals. Having a washer/dryer was also extremely convenient. Thanks for a great stay!
Great, clean studio style rental. Berlin area is beautiful. Hideabed was probably the most comfortable hideabed I've slept on. Kitchen is adequately stocked for cooking in-house if you choose. Place was clean upon arrival with a nice welcome binder that had local food joints and menus. Washer/dryer was nice. Would stay in again if I visit the area in the future.
