Need a break to green? Come to discover this big house of the 18th century entirely renovated in 2018. In the Village Potager, you will enjoy a large park, its old trees, the large outdoor pool and organic vegetables from our vegetable farm.
For all, full of nature activities: walk in the forest, discover life on the farm, climbing nearby to Larchant (the famous rock of the lady Jouanne), discover the heritage (Castle of Fontainebleau and Paris to less than one hour ! )

Great place

Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night and there were also lots of bugs. Someone in our group also fell down the stairs and broke their foot, the stairway is a bit steep in case you have elderly people. The second house had a lot of bees inside the house, I think there is a nest somewhere that needs to be relocated. All in all, a fantastic house with a great set up. We had the best time.

Nature and Space for Family and Friends

The villa is beautiful, with plenty of space for family and friends, and a gorgeous shop for organic food open a couple of days a week. There is a main house as well as a smaller house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and its own small kitchen and living room, which was good for us because the people with children were able to stay separately from those without. There is a pool, foosball, ping pong, bikes, and walking or biking distance to good bouldering and countryside. Be aware that the property is shared by those working on the farm, and that it is an active office space. The pool is both opened and closed by someone running the space. One thing that could be significantly alleviated by the hosts is more mosquito prevention indoors. Screens on the windows, nets on the beds, fans in each room would go a very long way. As it was everyone was severely bitten. The property is beautiful and the temperature is perfect at night, but unfortunately we all had to keep our windows closed, which meant it was hot and stuffy to sleep. There were also giant hornets who came indoors at night, and again some sort of screens or other prevention would make a significant difference there.

Nous nous sommes réunis à une vingtaine de personnes pour fêter mon 80ème anniversaire. Résidant dans les environs, nous avions pu visiter les lieux et organiser le séjour avant notre arrivée sur place avec nos invités. Nous avons été merveilleusement accueillis par Hélène et son équipe. Le gîte était plein de petites attentions, et nous avons pu découvrir les rouages du très intéressant projet du Village Potager, avec en particulier une séance personnalisée avec Etienne et Hélène. Le Village Potager a été le cadre parfait pour notre séminaire d'équipe, avec des espaces pour travailler en intérieur comme en extérieur, une belle piscine pour se rafraîchir, un aménagement des pièces où on se sent comme à la maison et des chambres très confortables, tout cela dans un très joli domaine verdoyant et bien entretenu !

Enkel de zon verstopte zich. Verder alles prima! Goed uitgeruste keuken, stijlvolle slaapkamers, voldoende sanitair, fijn en veilig afgesloten zwembad, veel speelgelegenheid overal rondom... Très beau gîte dans un cadre merveilleux

Tout était parfait! L'accueil d'abord, en n'oubliant pas ce panier de délicieux légumes que nous avons trouvé à notre arrivée. Puis, bien sûr, cette maison, qui en plus d'être vraiment très belle et tellement bien meublée, est parfaite pour recevoir une grande famille, surtout quand le temps est maussade. Ce grand jardin, qui a permis, entre autres, des parties endiablées de foot avec nos enfants et petits-enfants. L'endroit, au milieu de cette très belle forêt, qui nous a offert de merveilleuses ballades, ainsi que les beaux villages que nous avons pu visiter le long de cette jolie rivière qu'est le Loing. Sans oublier, la présentation des activités du Village Potager: un tout grand merci à Delphine, qui a rendu cette visite captivante, aussi pour nos petits-enfants. Un tout grand merci à la très gentille dame du bureau qui, entre autres, nous a préparé un magnifique panier supplémentaire de délicieux légumes. En un mot, une semaine de rêve, et un petit coup de cafard de devoir quitter ce petit coin de paradis... Et bravo également, pour ce beau projet écologique et solidaire qu'est le Village Potager.
