Just outside Zion National Park this quaint little oasis provides comfort, gorgeous vistas in a very secluded location! Samuel was prompt with responses to any questions, provided plenty of local hotspots for dining, and the stargazing is magnificent
We loved it! Every thing we needed in a little abode. The views were wonderful and the Milky Way was amazing.

This was incredible! I am so excited we stayed at this property. The owner was great and the house was beautiful, clean, had everything we needed. We sat in the hot tub at night under the stars. It was incredible.
We learned that we definitely could not live in a tiny house but this was perfect for our two night stay in Zion! It took a little bit longer than we thought to get to the park (30ish minutes) but was still a great little place to stay. So cute, tastefully decorated, and did not feel too small!

Thank you Kara, we’re glad you were able to try the tiny house experience with us. I think time getting to the park really depends on traffic but the West side of the park on Kolob is just a 10 minute drive ;) hope you also got to explore there. It’s beautiful and has lots of free hikes into Zion.
The tiny house was perfectly designed and super comfortable for our family of three. The layout of the house allows for incredible views throughout. We enjoyed lounging both inside and out, and the hot tub was the perfect end to long days of hiking. The loft bed was much more spacious than we’d anticipated and the stargazing hatch is an excellent touch. It was a unique and special getaway and we’re very happy with our stay!
Words can’t even come close to describe this picture perfect hidden gem. Down to every little detail was top notch. The views were indescribable. The owners were so friendly and property is unmatched to anywhere I’ve ever stayed at before. 1000% can’t wait to come back.
We absolutely loved this tiny home!! It was perfect for 2 people. House was clean, owner was friendly and responsive. It was the perfect location to do all of our day trips to Zion and Bryce! The stars at night were unbelievable! Place was quiet and secluded.
Our only regret is that we didn't book more time here. If you are planning a trip to Zion and there are only 2 of you i would highly recommend.
Quiet, beautiful and relaxing. Loved being away from crowds of Zion after hiking thru Narrows with thousands of people and waiting to ride on buses like NY subways. Loved hot tub and such incredible views! Like being totally off grid with some resort style comforts! Thank you Tiny Oasis! We’ll be back!
The house was very pretty and beautifully decorated throughout. A little house was not anywhere we have ever stayed before and the experience was enjoyable. Communication was very good with the owner and the attention to detail of the instructions was appreciated. We spent only two nights here and would have loved to really get to explore the property. Especially cool was the sunset as seen from the hot tub. We would certainly stay again.
I was impressed with all the kitchen supplies!
Honestly, my only negative was lack of any kind of curtains or drapes. Full widow exposure was a bit creepy - the other houses are off the side, but anyone walking around an see directly into the tiny home at night.
The Ark tiny home is gorgeous and very well planned out for making a stay fun and comfortable. The fire pit, hot tub under the stars and outdoor living and dining really make the place. We only had one issue; the water from the tap is horrible! They do have delicious reverse osmosis drinking water but to take a shower and wash your face it’s regular tap water. I assume well water??? It would be nice If that were treated. But who knows what you can get out in the desert. I just warmed drinking water for my face. We’d still stay here again. Lily and Sam were super nice!!

Hello there! So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We do hope to host you again in the future. So sorry about our water however, it’s a big issue because it comes from a well. It has strong minerals which makes it very hard to deal with. We do have a filtration system but unfortunately it can only do so much. The great news is that we are upgrading our system soon and we hope to solve the issue. Hopefully next time you visit it our water will be perfect!
Incredible Experience! Recommendations on adventures, hikes, restaurants & food are in this review!
We had an amazing experience at The Ark Tiny House! It’s beautifully decorated and has everything you need! The views are breathtaking and it was so nice being able to relax by the campfire or in the hot tub at night.
We hiked through Zion National Park and did some shopping. Most of the trail heads start on Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, you’ll have to ride the shuttle bus to get onto that road and have a park pass too. We did the Narrows hike which was amazing! Make sure to stop at Zion Outfitter to grab your waterproof shoes and hiking stick before getting on the shuttle bus. You can do the hike without waterproof shoes but I would definitely recommend a hiking stick. We did not do Angels Landing but we heard it’s incredible!
We also recommend driving Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. The views are breathtaking and you drive through a tunnel that is more than a mile long and built in the 1930’s! The Canyon Overlook Trail starts just after you exit the tunnel on your left. I left our favorite hikes, places to eat and shopping in Springsdale at the bottom of this review.
We also drove out to Sand Hallow and rented a Polaris Turbo RZR and adventured out onto the trails for a few hours. That was an awesome experience! You were able to do everything — sand dunes, rock climbing, trail riding. We would definitely do that again!
The weather was sunny mid 80’s during the day and dropped to mid 50’s at night. Springdale and Zion National Park we’re busy but it was not overly crowded in town or on the hiking trails.
We also stopped and ate at the Main Street Cafe in Hurricane on our way out. Their breakfast was delicious and the staff were super nice!

My teenage daughter and I absolutely loved our stay in The Ark tiny!! It is so apparent how much love and attention to detail Lily and Sam put into this place. It is truly special and well cared for. It felt so roomy inside, and we had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was so perfect after long days of hiking. Lily replied very quickly when I needed to ask about where to find something. We will fondly remember our stay here for years to come!
Just far enough out of town to feel secluded and close enough to run in to Zion and Springdale. Everything about it was perfect! It is as picturesque as it seems.
This was by far our favorite stay. The tiny house itself has everything you could need and more. The thoughtfulness that went into the design and items included with this place left us so impressed. We loved star gazing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The location is remote but still convenient to get to Zion and grab food. We really enjoyed ending our day here and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
The Ark is PERFECT and the views are breathtaking. The hot tub was quite relaxing and the owners were so friendly! We will surely return in the future!
Geweldig leuk en charmant huisje! Met liefde en zorg stijlvol ingericht tot in de kleinste details en van alle gemakken voorzien. Erg comfortabel, netjes en op een schitterende plek. Een echte aanrader!
Loved this little property. A bit out of the way from Zion but we took advantage and drove to the reservoir, did a hike on Grapevine Trail - then spent the rest of our time at Zion. Totally worth it. The tiny house has everything and more. The hot tub was awesome, bed comfy and kitchen perfect to make anything you want! We loved being able to come back to our little oasis at the end of the day and just chill. PERFECT!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! The views are breathtaking and the cute details of the tiny house make it even better. It made it hard to even leave our house. We looked forward to every afternoon to relax, grill and hot tub after a long day of hiking! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

About the host
Hosted by Zion
We started out with a dream of building our very own tiny house, and ended up creating a tiny house resort. There were many difficulties along the way, but our love for the outdoors coupled with tiny house living fueled the vision of creating a place where people could come experience a tiny home, and explore Zion National Park at the same time. Our goal is that everyone who visits leaves our place better than when they arrived, having spent time out in nature in one of the most beautiful places in the world, and getting the real Zion experience without the crowds. We hope you come stay and enjoy it as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We are ultimate DIYers. When we purchased the land it was Virgin...just like the name of the town. We drilled for a water well, put in the infrastructure ourselves and set out on this journey. Our private 75-acre mesa sits on the west side of Zions National Park. Offering that 3600 view of our spectacular park and surrounding landscapes. (This is our biggest draw!) It’s about communing with nature without forfeiting amenities. Our property offers a more intimate experience with the environment than a traditional hotels.
What makes this property unique
Because of our unique location, we have a great advantage of no light pollution. No city is near us and the subdivision next to us is 50 feet below our hill. When gazing up at the sky you feel your literally in space.
