This place is a DREAM! There are several units on the property, so I am speaking about the 4th floor terrace apartment. Saad and Mrs. Fatiha took amazing care of us, and we had one of the best trips of our lives here. Essaouira is beautiful, and you are in the heart of it all. You are also close to the "touristy" city walls if you want to venture out and see the local Essaouira life. It's just perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed, there is a washer on the rooftop for cleaning clothes, and the price was phenomenal for the value you get out of this property. Would come back and recommend every time! 10/10 experience.

On line photographes were deceptive. One bedroom was outside the apartment unit- across the stairway. This room was crowded without natural light or a source of extra heat. We did not use this bedroom. The neighbourhood is undergoing major reconstruction . We experienced constant daily hammering, pounding . (2022) Property is located very near a nightclub. Music begins around 11:00 and goes on until 3:00 am. We were unable to find English TV - suggest written instructions Property was not advertised as a third floor walk up. On a positive note , the kitchen was clean, well equipped, bedding was adequate , very nice terrace and view. Close to shopping. Safe

We liked Essaouira, the apartment itself was good but the 4 flights of stairs were not mentioned or the dingy alleyways with rubble and cat litter to get to the riad.

Riad très bien. Propre et très bien équipé. En revanche la ruelle avant d'atteindre le riad est très sale et malodorante. Ça peut faire peur en arrivant. Peu d'échanges avec Fathiha qui gère le riad.

I couldn't have asked for a better apartment

The Sapphire apartment was a complete dream. I walked through the front door and gasped when I saw the decoration and view from the flat. The design is incredibly unique and comfortable; you could never compare this to a hotel! We were so close to the beach and took full advantage of the terrasse (perfect for having breakfast!). Really well done, highly recommend

Great appartement and well decorated. Bright and comfortable spacious rooms overlooking the beach. Beddings are clean and of good quality. Well situated nearby local shops and the fish market. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und grossräumig. Es hat eine wunderschöne überdachte Terrasse mit einer fantastischen Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Mobiliar ist sehr gewählt, hochwertig und geschmackvoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Küche ist klein, aber sie ist sehr gut ausgerüstet. Man fühlt sich unheimlich wohl dort, so dass man sich regelrecht aufraffen muss, um die Stadt zu entdecken. Falls man etwas zum Waschen hat, gibt es eine Waschmaschine im untersten Stock. Für Entertainment ist auch gesorgt, es hat einen Flatscreen Fernseher, einige Bluray DVDs und Bücher…oder man macht sich ein Feuer im Kamin und geniesst das Meeresrauschen und die Möwen. Der Strand ist etwa 5 Gehminuten von dort entfernt und der öffentliche Parkplatz nur 2 Minuten. Einzige Kritik: Die Gasse, in der sich das Apartment befindet, ist sehr schmutzig, aber dafür können die Besitzer des Apartments nichts. Wenn man schnell hindurch läuft, Nase zu und Vorsicht Katzenkot, ist es auch nicht so schlimm. So ist eben Marokko.

charming flat in Essaouira's medina

Charming flat , warm and very functional (all the commodities : Tv, wifi..). Pleasant blend of European decoration in a traditional oriental home. An amazing outside terrace with an amazing view over the sea and the walls of Essaouira. Located in the center of the medina, this flat is close to sea, shops and restaurants.

C’est un endroit délicieux, où l’on est accueilli chaleureusement en nous mettant à l’aise. On se sent comme à la maison avec une formidable vue sur mer, au centre de la Medina Tout est raffiné, la déco, le salon avec sa cheminée qui ajoute un aspect romantique à l’endroit. La propreté est irréprochable. Si je peux me permettre, ne ratez pas cet endroit, il est enchanteur ! philippe cécile
