Excellent Northwoods cabin on Lake George

We loved staying at Bob’s cabin on Lake George. You can tell he and his family take a lot of pride in it, it truly felt like a home. The property was very clean and well equipped. We did not want to leave. We would absolutely come back.

Lake George is our Happy Place

The house, beach. facilities were all great. We used the dock for the pontoon we rented from Brekkes, many of us learned to SUP, our dog loved the water and the paths. everything was as expected for a high rated VRBO. I did not realize towels were not included so make sure to bring a set for each person and the kitchen. The washer and dryer were put to use and we enjoyed the walkout wet bar and wine chiller. Dont hesitate! It’s a great family home.

My wife Cindi and I live in Muskego Wisconsin on our horse farm 4-J's equestrian Center where we also host barn weddings. We have been vacationing on Lake George for ten years. In 2014 we decided to buy the cabin we had been renting. The cabin was not in the best of shape and was not winterized. Being a retired contractor I decided that a full tear down was a better option than remodeling. After two years designing and procuring permits we began construction which was completed in then spring of 2019.

We enjoy sharing our special retreat with others and the peace and tranquility that Wisconsin's north woods has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Lake Shore Cabin offers a unique up north experience on the shore of Lake George. Built of stone and vertical log it is reminiscent of the cabins on the lake from the 1920's and 30's but with all the modern amenities.
The cabin has bark siding accents inside and out. The interior features log and bark furniture with a custom made birch bark canoe lite over the dining room table. With two stone fire places one natural and the other gas that make for a perfect cool up north ambience. Outside you will find both a gas and charcoal grill. A stone fire pit with plenty of fire wood. Lights in the gables and soffits high light the exterior.
Lake Shore Cabin is ten minutes from Rhinelander for shopping and dinning convenience but is situated on a 10 acre resort at the end of a dead end road.
