Spacious three level home with ground floor TV room, piano, twin bedroom, full bath, bar with stool seating, refrigerator and beverage cooler. First level beautifully remodeled kitchen with two dishwashers and two sinks, dining and living room combo, and three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, wraparound oceanfront deck with furniture and built-in bench seating with fabulous ocean views.

Beautiful ocean views from every room. The third level has 2 large king bedroom suites with 2 full bathrooms and an additional oceanfront living room with a sleeper sofa and bar height table and chairs. Enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. 2 car garage, charcoal grill, 3 kayaks, many beach chairs, boogie boards, and bikes. In between Just A Beach Cottage and Payneless, so guests can rent all three.

Amazing Beach House!

Jonah’s Whale is an amazing place! Incredible ocean views, the home is very well and creatively appointed and furnished. The beach home lays out very well as far the architecture and the flow. The owners obviously thought things through very well. Anybody who rents the place will likely not be disappointed. Perfect location, dunes are well built up in front of the home unlike other areas Oak Island which has under gone a lot of beach erosion. A true gem of a beachhouse. Ben Merritt Wilmington NC

Great experience

Overall had a great trip! Oak island is more relaxed and less commercial than Wilmington, the beach was beautiful and not very crowded although early in season, the house got all of our needs well and was very comfortable, lots of extras like boats and bikes in the garage. Kitchen needs better organization and one of the dishwashers was not working, other than this would highly recommend, great place!
