We stayed at this property for a 4 household family vacation, and everyone from the grandparents to the 5 year old loved the place. The host was very responsive to any questions or needs. The house is well stocked with adequate linens, kitchen items, paper goods and soaps. Can easily seat 10 both inside and on the deck for family meals. The game room was a big hit and the toys and train set kept both our 5 yo and 10 yo grands busy for hours. The property is well located to the state beach where swimming in Donner Lake is much warmer than Lake Tahoe and it’s so much less crowded. We would book this place every year if our kids and their families lived closer.

Great vacation for multiple families

We had a great winter wonderland trip at this property. It was perfect for three families. Lots of space and toys for the kids, fully stocked kitchen, and a great location. Would stay again!

Family Get Together

This is our third year staying at this beautiful home and there's a reason we keep coming back---we love it! It's clean and comfortable with an amazing deck to enjoy coffee and wine! The owners have made improvements every year and it just keeps getting better.

Family vacation

This spacious home is well set up for a large family with all ages. We truly enjoyed our stay. The home had all the infant equipment needed, children’s toys, and spaciousness for our whole family. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation spot in a beautiful area!

Great large family get away.

We stayed at this well equipped home in Tahoe Donner with our 2 daughters and their families, 3 couples and 3 kids, ages 3,6 and 6 It was spacious with great ability to relax and enjoy time together as well as separate area for kids to play. Wish there was a bit more snow because the area out back was great for snow play. We had no issues during our stay, but communication with owners before hand was great.

Totally recommend family friendly great location

I would definitely come back again ! Great location near everything that is fun. Great game room with everything you could imagine for adults and children ! Spacious and super clean…easily sleeps 11 people.. Andrea the host was always available for any questions I had. Totally recommend this house!

Even better the second time around!

This was our second stay at this fantastic home. It has been beautifully updated and we loved every minute of our visit. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the kids had a great time with all the toys and costumes. The owners have paid attention to all the details that make a house a home. We will be back!

Love this house!

We get together annually with college friends and their families. This house holds all of us comfortably. The atmosphere of the house is so inviting and the beds are super comfy. The teens love the foosball table and air hockey table. The hosts are super nice and great with communication. I highly recommend this house! We plan to stay here again next year.

Family friendly

Great location some of us enjoyed skiing some used Tahoe donner rec center others stayed home and used the hot tub. House had air hockey foosball and ping pong table with lots of extra ping pong balls (usually at most rentals they have just a few or none brought our own and didn’t need them) completely satisfied fun for the whole family

Good place to stay except the mattresses are not good quality and too soft in firmness causing muscle pain after a night sleep. Everything else is very good!

Hi Naveen, I’m sorry to hear you had trouble with the mattresses. I am surprised to hear this as we recently purchased a Purple mattress for the master bedroom and a memory foam topper for another bedroom. I guess everyone has different needs from their mattresses.

Wonderful home for families!

We had a fantastic weekend at this home. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful. We appreciated having the downstairs rec and playroom spaces for the kids ages 4 to 16 to enjoy! The treasure box of costumes was a huge hit! Everyone was comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and oven and stove great. We highly recommend this house for groups especially with kids. Having two garage spaces for parking was key with the snow!

Fantastic family friendly Donner home

We stayed here with two other families. The layout of the house was excellent and it’s so family friendly. The game room, lots of toys and fun stuff for all ages was appreciated. The teens wanted to bunk together and we loved the extra futons that could be brought into the different rooms. Kitchen was updated, nice and big for several people to work in at once and was very well stocked. Andrea was super communicative and thoughtful in letting us know the house was ready for check in early. Easy Tahoe Donner location that is close to everything. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend.

Family Time in Truckee

This was the 4th year that my family stayed in this home and it's always fantastic. We enjoyed swimming at Donner Lake and Tennis at the Truckee River Regional Park, but that was a bonus. This home has everything you need to relax and enjoy the family without going anywhere. Games, air hockey, dress up clothes for the kids, hot tub and the perfect deck for an outdoor movie on the "big screen." And each year we look forward to seeing the new upgrades that the owners have completed. There's nothing like making memories with the grandchildren---everyone is already looking forward to next year!!
