Horror Story of the Dream Getaway
I really liked Carol based on our “pre-arrival” conversations but,
-Her house is basically abondoned;
-Hence, upon arrival we spent all night cleaning the top to bottom; mopping, etc
-Had to call the police because a lady entered the house Sunday morning at 9am without a knock or introduction then ran out through the front door;
-Cob webs galore;
-Beds where made up with feces and hair from others we literally had to strip every bed; JUST NASTY; unacceptable;
-Washers and dryers took forever to dryer so we couldn’t go to bed when we arrived;
-Damages to the interior have not been repair;
-Furniture very nasty, old and broken. The white leather sofa goes to floor when you sit on it. Nasty, dirty, unkept; Horrible
-Animal dander on the grey sofa, we literally had to scrub it to be able to sit and ended up using our personal blankets to stifle the smell;
-Had to remove the rugs because we were all getting sick from the animal smells;
-Zero was wash cloths and dish towels, “who does that”. How disrespectful!!!!!!!
-We flew 6 hours and couldn’t go to bed. Who does that to innocent people!!!!!!!!!!!
-I want to be refunded all of my money!!!!!
-Carol said,
“There is no maid service available to come correct this problem”
“Let me inconvenience you more by asking you to call VRBO to find you a different house” Thoughtless!!!!!
“You’re upset, don’t be, you’ve only been planning this trip for a few months, I am ordering new chairs now.
Carol is a TERRIBLE VRBO host and should be removed from this site!!!! She gives VRBzo a bad name. People are trying to have a good Dream GetAway not a Horror Dream Getaway. How inconsiderate and thoughtless! She doesn’t live in San Francisco so she doesn’t have a clue about her property. I sent her so many picture is her old, torn, dirty furniture. I had the police inspect the house so we couldn’t be accused of anything!
HERE’S what takes the cake! You can’t lock the patio door. We had to install an alarm on the door to ensure no one entered!!!!!!
