About this property
Tranquil Mountain Cottage (Wheelchair Accessible)
Surrounded by beautiful farmland, plan your vacation at this cottage fifteen minutes from downtown Asheville. This two bedroom/two bathroom house was built to accommodate people with disabilities. Even if you don't need the additional support, this home is a lovely place to rest, relax and rejuvenate. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this cottage lies in a family estate that spans 17 acres. You will be amazed by the sounds of a small family farm (chickens, goats, and turkeys) and astonished by the nightly firefly/star-filled sky. Meanwhile, there are many attractions, like hiking and waterfalls, kayaking or tubing, skiing or snowboarding, or the Biltmore estate, or city life in Asheville, all so close by. Guests will have space and privacy, but the host is nearby should a need arise. A special bonus is a nursery with full-sized crib in one of the huge walk-in closets. The kitchen is fully equipped, as well as having a washer/dryer room. WiFi is provided with a smart TV and DVD player. For added pleasure, there is a large selection of books, puzzles, movies, and games. Enjoy walks in the quiet neighborhood when not exploring the many, many attractions in nearby Asheville, Maggie's Valley, Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, and more. In the cooler months, curl up next to the fireplace and relax. In the warmer months, enjoy both a covered front and a back porch with seating. Accommodations include two queen beds plus a queen futon for extra sleeping. Linens and towels are included for convenience. This Tranquil Mountain Cottage is truly a neat, comfortable and relaxing home close to so many other adventures.

We had such a lovely Staye my five-year-old granddaughter was sad to leave even though we only stayed one night. Charming, warm, clean, and exactly what we needed.

Thanks Holly for the kind words. You and your family were ideal guests and I hope you will come again.
Loved this VRBO, when you first walk in there’s a little sign saying Nana’s House, and it feels just like you are staying with family. Everything we needed was right there. It is such a quiet area, in the country. Felt safe and like home. Will definitely stay again if we do the dog show here next year.

It was a property that was excellent for handicapped accessible people. When the electricity went out due to a storm, Elaine came over and brought lights that were battery powered.
we love the location, the place is very nice. The accessible features made it ideal for our mobility needs. The horses, the cows make it all more enjoyable.
thank you for a wonderful stay
