About this property
Beautiful craftsman-built home with natural wood and large windows in every room
Located on a quiet road approximately one mile from the center of Brownsville, the property is a short drive from Woodstock, Ludlow, Quechee, Killington, and Hanover, NH. Hiking, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking are available out the front door using the extensive Ascutney / West Windsor Town Forest trail system.
Our home sleeps eight with comfort. There are three bedrooms (second floor master bedroom with king bed, second floor bedroom with queen bed, third floor bedroom with two twin beds) plus a downstairs bunk room / playroom with additional twin beds.
The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen and adjacent dining table, plus an open-concept living area with a wood-burning brick fireplace and game table. There is also a separate den with a sofa, recliner, and TV. For summer and fall visits, there is a back deck complete with a gas grill.
This is an excellent home and location for gathering with family and friends. We will provide you with a book of our favorite activities and restaurants, and do everything we can to make your visit both easy and memorable!
NOTE: We recommend a 4WD vehicle, especially for wintertime. Our road and our driveway both have inclines.
