This beautiful cabin rental in Wildwood Forest resort offers 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms that comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests on their fun-filled Smoky Mountains vacation getaway! The main level of your resort cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with new stainless appliances, breakfast bar, and family dining area for enjoyable meals together. Additionally, the living room with gas fireplace, a 50” flat screen television, and a queen sleeper sofa provide the perfect space for entertainment. Love this tucked in the mountains. Was very quiet and we even got to see a resident black bear that was walking the road. Great place to stay!

Lovely stay to bring on the New Year

We had a great stay and enjoyed the cabin very much. Nice touch with the nice Christmas tree and tasteful holiday decor. Very convenient location once you get off the mountain, right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Short family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Our Happy Place. The cabin was exactly like the pictures. My kids loved the Christmas decorations, pool table and arcade game. Parking was a little tricky but no a big issue. Would stay here again.

Beautiful and good location

Perfect location right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Had difficulty finding it on the first night would not recommend trying to find it in the dark. Very clean and comfy beds. Had a bear climb a tree to forage and eat while we were in the hot tub! Saw 4 bears during our stay. Only recommendation would be to bring your own towel for the hot tub.

Lovely Getaway

This cabin was a great getaway for our family. The cabin was clean, spacious and the owner, Jill, was great with communication. The only drawback was the roads like mentioned in other reviews, however it seems like the majority of roads in the area are similar. Overall a great place to stay and would stay again in the future.

Perfect little Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and hope to return soon. The cabin was located in the perfect place to easily get to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed spending the day exploring and coming home to relax by the fire or in the hot tub. The ride up the mountain to the cabin was truly an experience, but worth it.

Perfect Holiday getaway

Our family had an amazing time staying at now ‘our happy place’! The cabin had been freshly decorated for Christmas to add a special touch to this already awesome cabin. Everything we needed for cooking thanksgiving dinner was here and the quiet and peaceful setting made for incredible post dinner atmosphere. This is right in the middle of all the points of interest and saw wildlife all around us. Can’t wait to get back up here!

We had a great time, we were looking for a property to escape too, after a misleading time share we were staying at in Gatlinburg that was nothing like it advertised. This was a wonderful and relaxing way to end our trip.

Nice Cabin for Short Stay

Nice place,comfortable beds and the hot tub & deck were great.Location is convenient, located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Living area is a little tight and use some updated livingroom furniture. You should know that the parking for two vehicles could be a challenge, especially with larger vehicles.

Perfect Family Getaway

This cabin and location was perfect for our smaller family. Location was close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There are some comments about the steep drive. I would say it is steep but it’s a short drive and we are in the mountains. I would expect it based on the location, but no concerns or different from other cabins.

Great location.

Great cabin. Conveniently located. Don’t use GPS to get there. Following their instructions. The only real issue is parking at the cabin. kinda difficult. Also TV remote a lil difficult. But we figured it out Could have been just us. Had a great time.!!

Great location but property could use a DEEP clean!!

We have mixed reviews about this property. First of all, the location is PERFECT!!! Close to everything yet private, quiet and secluded. The owners are also wonderful to deal with and handled things quickly. We weren't sure what time we would arrive at the cabin, and we ended up arriving 30mn. before check in. Being only 30 mn. early we went ahead and entered the cabin. It had not yet been cleaned. We contacted the owner who was quick to respond, however with only 30 mn. until time to officially check in we were extremely skeptical at how thoroughly the unit could be cleaned. We were contacted about an hour later that the unit was cleaned. As we expected the cabin was not cleaned well at all. The sheets and towels were changed but that was about it. This is a great property with great owners but it is is in desperate need of a deep cleaning!!!! Especially the kitchen and bathrooms.

We enjoyed the cabin and the features - hot tub, pool table, game table. Close enough to both Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge for all the family activities we wanted to do!We were able to catch a glimpse of a bear as it walked in the woods across from the cabin.It is a windy road with limited parking available at the cabin - not an issue but something to be aware of.

Such a wonderful stay!

We had a great time on our trip! Our kids were so sad to leave. The cabin was clean and just as advertised. The beds were comfortable and the linens were awesome! Location to everything was great and the area was quiet. We definitely will be back to stay here again!

Quiet and Peaceful

The cabin was in the middle of the woods which provided a nice private and peaceful atmosphere. Amenities were nice and made the stay very comfortable. Overall, would recommend to stay in this cabin to anyone, you will enjoy your time here.

Great location!

We loved the location proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! Cabin was very clean and has a good amount of supplies you will need. The floor plan is good with the loft game room. Hot tub is also very private with beautiful views on the back deck. Grill situation is not ideal and parking is tight. But we prepared for these. Only complaint is the creaky second floor. We have stayed in a lot cabins in the area over the years and the creaky floor boards in this one were frustrating. And I know there is no good solution, so I just share that in case it’s helpful. Owner is very responsive, we saw bears two different days, and it was a great stay!

Pigeon Forge is a place that is very sentimental to us. It is where my family would visit and make wonderful memories; it is where we had our honey moon; and it is where we visit every year. There is just something special about being tucked away in the mountains in a cozy cabin. I enjoy every season in the Smokies- whether it be when the leaves are changing and the crisp fall air is all around you, or when the snow caps on the mountains are gleaming, or in the summer months when everything is green and bear spotting is very common. I am so thankful to be able to rent out this beautiful cabin and share my experience with others.

Why they chose this property

When I used to search for cabin rentals, I had specific standards. I wanted a cabin that was fairly close to the main strip, but also a cabin that felt very private. This cabin offers both. You can get to Pigeon Forge in under 7 minutes, or you can drive to Gatlinburg in about 7 miles. It is very secluded. I also wanted beautiful windows overlooking the woods or mountains. This cabin offers just that. I hope you enjoy Our Happy Place as much as we do.
