A house from 1733: calm and change of scenery in Burgundy
With the imminent return of spring and beautiful days, a new guesthouse is born within the Maisons de Chamirey: "La Maison du Grand Four" so called since about 100 years ago, the inhabitants of Chamirey - the most beautiful hamlet of Mercurey - gathered on the place of the Castle of Chamirey to bake their bread and exchange on the briefs of the village. The Grand Four was restored a few years ago and is still used today, especially during local meals, to bake pies, breads and other exceptional Burgundian dishes. With a breathtaking view of the Château de Chamirey and after a comprehensive and meticulous renovation, this new guest house still in Burgundy stone, dating from 1733, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, accommodates 6 to 7 people. Intended for families or groups of friends wishing to discover the Côte Chalonnaise, its heritage and above all its fine nectars, this new residence located close to the wine tasting cellar will seduce you with its architecture, its decoration and its calm. A whole range of services and activities are available at the time of booking to enhance your stay: visit / tasting at the Château de Chamirey cellar, bicycle rental, breakfast delivery service, home massage, balloon flight above vineyards, …. So do not wait and be the first to take advantage of this beautiful winemaker's house and its cellar with the best Burgundy wines!
