Sunshine Grove preserves the vintage charm of its 1920's roots, blended with modern amenities such as a freshly remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances, new touches in the bathrooms, and cozy comforts throughout. Beautifully refinished wood floors, an open beam ceiling in the living room and multi-paned windows add to the charm. French doors open to a private dining patio with gas BBQ and deck with a hot tub. Just off the living room, the master suite includes a full bathroom with shower and tub and double vanity. In the hallway that leads to the 2nd full bathroom and laundry, there are custom-built stairs to the 2nd bedroom. French doors at the hallway give the lofted bedroom full privacy.

You'll love cooking - inside or out - at Sunshine Grove and basking in your private retreat! Pack a picnic and walk to the Guernewood Park neighborhood beach on the Russian River or explore acclaimed wineries just minutes away. When you return, relax in the hot tub, fire up the BBQ, or check out fabulous restaurants in West Sonoma County. Families with kids and dogs will appreciate the fully fenced yard and proximity to playgrounds, activities and hiking trails.

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours:
The maximum occupancy at Sunshine Grove is 6 people. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

Parking:
There is parking for 2 to 3 cars in the driveway in front of the house. The garage is not available for parking. Street parking is scarce. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Bed Sizes:
First bedroom: Queen bed; Second bedroom: Queen bed; Living Room: Queen sleeper sofa.

Heat Source:
This house uses a combination of gas & electric heaters including a gas woodstove-style fireplace insert in the living room.

A/C: The house does not have air conditioning. Being near the coast, the night time temps drop and just opening some windows is usually enough to cool the house.

Stairs: There are two sets of stairs at the house: one with several landings from the parking area to the front door and one interior set of stairs to the 2nd bedroom. These stairs are nearly ladder-like, very sturdy and have non-slip material on them for your safety. We've included photos and hope you will contact us with any questions or concerns about the stairs.

Fencing: The yard is fully fenced.

Proximity to Wineries: Several tasting rooms in downtown Guerneville are approx. 1.5 miles walk or drive.

Nearest River Beach: The nearest river access is a 1 mile walk or drive.

Nearest Ocean Beach: The coastal beaches in Jenner are approx. 13 miles.
