The sweetest apartment in town!
The Almond Biscuit apartment is on top of one of the oldest Pastry Shops in Porto Historic center - Primar Confectionery (1946) -, where you can have your breakfast included at the price.

It is also part of a restored building dated 1830, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage! It now a completely renovated apartment, keeping the beautiful architecture details that makes the building so special and unique.

Large, charming and sunny space with 50m2. A large bed room and a convertible sofa bed on the living room makes it a comfortable place for 2 where can accommodate 3. Big bathroom. Linen and bed sheets are provide. Kitchen with all the necessary equipment for cooking during a short stay.
Balcony where you can enjoy a fantastic view from one of the most beautiful squares in Porto city, either it's a sunny day or a typical Porto´s fog day!

It is a very central apartment with double glazing Windows but it is possible to have some noise, especially during weekends and city parties.

Free wifi.
Portable speaker that allows listening to music from smart phone, tablet and laptop.


The Almond Biscuit is a charming and beautiful apartment located in the heart of historic Porto city. From the balcony you can admire the famous Lions Square, Carmo Church and Carmelite Church and you can also spot the famous Lello Bookshop on your right. The Tower of Clerics and the Portuguese Center of Photography are on your backside.

The quartier is not only surround by monuments, but also great restaurants, shops and traditional grocery's. A few 5 minutes walking from the Arts quarter Miguel Bombarda and 2 minutes walking from the quarter Paris Galleries full of trendy bars and the heart of Porto night spot. During weekends the quarter is full of street markets where you can find a little of every thing!
You can also take a beautiful 20 minutes walking till the riverside - Ribeira.

Several buses stop, including tourist bus, are just across the street and 10 minutes walking distance from subway and train station Sao Bento.

Very clean and unique property in the centre of Porto close to the university and within walking distance to all major sites. The hosts Elise and Luiz, were very accommodating, offering an excellent breakfast in the downstairs caffe, The building itself is Unesco listed and inside there is an air of a clean modern property retaining all of the original features. Jump on the bus 601/602 to get to the airport for 2.50 Euros door to door.

Loved my stay at the Almond Biscuit! Everything as advertised, perfect location. All 3 nights of my stay it was quite loud outside but that doesn’t bother me. They also do inform you in the listening to be forewarned on weekends. Will 100% return back soon!

The location was very convenient. We were able to walk everywhere. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. There was a lot of street noise at night. We also thought there were two beds, one being a fold out or Murphy bed. That was not the case. One of us slept on a small sofa.

Wonderful stay!

Great central location for walkability. A very large apartment with A/C! Having the bakery downstairs with included breakfast was also amazing and the portion size was so generous! Only element to keep in mind, it IS centrally located with nearby late night restaurants and bars so especially on weekend nights, it can be noisy till 2am but, even so, it just felt authentic to the city so just bring ear plugs or a sound machine if you're a light sleeper.

Great property in a great location with a great breakfast. Apartment was a bit Spartan: cold when we arrived late at night and no pictures on the walls, but otherwise modern and well equipped. Luis was very helpful and the welcome cookies/ biscuits were much appreciated.

One of the best places we have ever stayed. The location was wonderful. The unit itself was perfect, incredibly clean, had comfortable beds, and any amenities you might need. The breakfast every morning at the cafe was absolutely wonderful. This was our favorite place we stayed while in Portugal and would love to return soon!

The apartment was spotless and well equipped. Great location to walk to all the sites. Only drawbacks were noisy college students very late at night due to university next store but it is a minor blio. Property is in a great central location. We were able to walk to the bus and train station for day trips to Aviero, Braga, Matosinhos and Pinhao in the Douro Valley, which should not be missed. Luis and Elisa are wonderful hosts, would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed very nice comfortable apartment in a location to explore by walking to riverfront churches parks restaurants walked over 7 miles one day you will be very comfortable and the breakfast is wonderful provided with apartment if you have a car be prepared to park underground and paid €25 per day
