Luxury Home with Gorgeous Ocean Views !

Bella Vista del Mar is located on the 'Gold Coast' of Costa Rica which is considered to be the prime area in Costa Rica to vacation. Our town home is in the town of Potrero in an upscale, gated community called Villas Catalina, a small complex of 11 homes. Villas Catalina is on Camino Las Catalina, across the street from two gorgeous beaches, Playa Penca and Playa Prieta, both voted in the top five most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Our home is located on a two lane paved country road.

Our elegant town home blends spacious living, comfort and luxury with magnificent views of Flamingo and Potrero Bay, Playa Penca, Playa Prieta, and incredible Pacific sunsets. Sitting on our wrap-around terrace watching a beautiful sunset with the waves crashing in the background makes time stand still. The shared infinity pool also has a breathtaking panoramic view of the coastline.

Our two story home has been tastefully decorated to reflect the Costa Rican culture. All of our furniture has been handmade by Costa Rican craftsman. It has granite and marble counter tops throughout and has all the amenities to make your stay very comfortable. Our gourmet kitchen has just about everything you would need to cook a wonderful meal.

The main level includes the living room, dining room, large gourmet kitchen, large outside deck and patio with a beautiful view of the ocean as well as a full bath and bedroom with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds that can easily accommodate adults. The lower level has a spacious primary suite with a king size bed and an attached private bathroom. Also on this level is a second bedroom with a queen bed and attached private bathroom. All the bedrooms have a nice ocean view. A laundry room is also on this floor with washer, dryer and second refrigerator/freezer. All rooms are air conditioned. Our home is a non-smoking home.

The home has a high definition TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime access, DVD player, CD player, full stereo with inside and outside speakers and surround sound, high speed Internet and telephone. Each room is equipped with an Ethernet port as well for internet access. The Sony sound system is smart-phone ready with Bluetooth connection capability.

The beautiful shared infinity pool with spa has two bathrooms/showers and a barbecue for your use. The pool area is equipped with two tables and eight sitting chairs as well as multiple padded lounge chairs. There is an unheated spa as well. The views from the pool are a spectacular panoramic view of the entire coastline and Flamingo Bay. It is a great location to watch the sunset!

Bella Vista del Mar is VERY close to the beach... A quick walk to two beautiful secluded beaches. Our home sits on a hill overlooking Flamingo Bay. Just down from that hill is the ocean. Literally it is a 3-5 minute leisurely walk to two beautiful beaches. Playa Penca is a beautiful white sand beach in Flamingo Bay which is quite shallow for a long way out great for children, sunbathing, skim boarding and swimming. Playa Prieta is the same distance and has lots of great shade and big rolling waves for body surfing. Both beaches have been voted in the top five most gorgeous beaches in Costa Rica.

There is some traffic on the road in front of our home to the Las Catalinas development several miles down the road. The holiday season and the peak winter months are the busiest season.

Our complex does sit up on a hill to allow for the beautiful ocean views. There are stairs to climb from the parking area to get to our front door. The shared infinity pool is located on the upper level of our small complex to capture the amazing views and does require a walk uphill. Our home is equipped with a keyless front door lock so that you can come and go with ease. We also have a safe in the first floor bedroom to store your valuables.

If you are traveling with small children, we do now offer a Baby Bundle rental package for $75 which includes a 4 Moms Portable Crib, an Upseat Highchair and a Mesh Child Safety Gate for the stairwell. Please let us know if this is something that you might want for your stay.
