Magnificent property comprising house with heated swimming pool and sheepfold

This magnificent property is located on the plateau overlooking the very pretty village of Bonnieux.
In the middle of holm oaks, wild thyme, rosemary and lavender, in a park of more than 1 hectare you will have a main house with 8 beds, having a large awning overlooking the swimming pool with outdoor lounge, dining room. outdoor dining with barbecue.
In front of the swimming pool a very pretty small sheepfold in stone allowing 4 additional beds and two stone bories.
The main house has 4 bedrooms, very large living room with dining room and kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 2 separate WCs.
The stone sheepfold allows 4 duplex beds and has its sink and toilet. It is ideal for children, teenagers or a couple of friends. It is located just on the other side of the swimming pool in a magnificent stone enclosure also comprising 2 stone bories typical of the region.
You can also enjoy an illuminated pétanque court in the evening, a ping pong table and a badminton court.

You will be in the heart of a tourist region, you will be able to discover the Luberon regional park with its magnificent small villages like Lourmarin or Gordes, the very large cedar forest (the largest in Europe), the Buoux cliffs or the Provencal canyon from Roussillon, the many renowned restaurants in the region, the various festivals or votive celebrations, all within less than half an hour from the property.

You will be greeted by the owner of the estate who can introduce you to a rosé wine from the Luberon aop produced by him in the region.

Amazing holiday

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was great, with easy access to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The host was responsive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend!

We were a group of four men on a cycling holiday. Christopher’s villa was ideally situated for our exploration of the Luberon. We particularly enjoyed our evening meals gathered around the pool and the quiet of the villa’s setting.

We loved our stay at this house just outside of Bonnieux. It was very amenable to vacationing with a larger group, with a nice seating area near the pool and a long dining room table. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was key given the extreme temperatures during our stay. Ping pong, boules, and the pool were all fun with a crowd, it should be noted that pool towels were not provided. Christophe was super responsive and very friendly. The sheepfold, which has 2 beds, was more rustic than we imagined and may not be suitable for everyone.

Vraiment chouette maison pour s’y retrouver avec des amis et de la famille, emplacement vraiment incroyable ! Les plus: emplacement Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de Bonnieux, accĂšs au village par le GR de la maison en 20 minutes Ă  pied, sublimes espaces de vie (le flow piscine, cuisine, salon, salle Ă  manger
), grandes tables pour 10 personnes, super plancha et BBQ, trĂšs grand terrain de plus de 4 hec, trĂšs calme et privĂ©, espaces jeux (badminton, ping pong, pĂ©tanque
), pas trop de moustiques (ce qui est gĂ©nial pour la Provence!!!)
 Les petits watch-outs: la bergerie est un peu roots, on le savait (pas mal de petits insectes, mouches etc
), les salles d eau ne sont pas super dingues (salle de bain du haut a une trĂšs trĂšs petite douche et lavabo) un petit peu en dĂ©calage avec le prix/standing du reste de la maison. La cuisine est Ă©quipĂ© de maniĂšre basique, il faudrait vraiment un deuxiĂšme frigo quand on est 10 personnes pour les boissons! Donner des plus grandes serviettes. Seulement 2 petites par personne! Nous on venez des États Unis c Ă©tait un peu juste, j ai du en acheter en plus :-) On reviendra c’est sur !!!

TrĂšs grande propriĂ©tĂ© naturellement arborĂ© situĂ©e Ă  l'extrĂ©mitĂ© d'une voie sans issue Ă  l'abri des regards indiscrets. Maison vaste Ă  la dĂ©coration soignĂ©e oĂč l'on s'y sent bien. DĂ©pendances de toute beautĂ© abritant une table de ping-pong non abimĂ©e et au delĂ  de la piscine, elle aussi bien entretenue, un filet de badminton et un VRAI terrain de pĂ©tanque. En rĂ©sumĂ©, de belles prestations pour passer un agrĂ©able sĂ©jour.

Lovely vacation home.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Plenty of room for relaxing - really enjoyed chilling around the pool. Great location for exploring the area and can walk to town along quiet roads and path. Rented e-bikes in town - a great way to visit neighbouring towns.

Prestations inferieures

Conforme Ă  la description, le jardin est beau, la piscine agrĂ©able et l’environnement calme. En revanche, l’accueil, les prestations Ă  l’intĂ©rieur de la maison et la relation client sont loin d'ĂȘtre en accord avec ce prix. Nous sommes arrivĂ©s 1h30 plutĂŽt qu’annoncĂ©. Je tĂ©lĂ©phone et je suis accueilli par un « mais je travaille moi ! je ne pourrais pas venir avant 17h30 ». A la prise de possession des lieux, l’assistante n’a cessĂ© de nous rĂ©pĂ©ter qu’elle avait dĂ» annuler son weekend pour nous remettre les clĂ©s. La premiĂšre chose qui frappe lorsque l’on s’approche de la terrasse et de la porte d’entrĂ©e qui donne sur la cuisine, c’est l’odeur Ă©manant de la fosse sceptique. Cette odeur pestilentielle est encore plus forte dans la chambre adjacente. Mon neveux et ma niĂšce qui occupaient cette chambre avec leur enfant de 11 mois, dĂ©ciderons d’abrĂ©ger leur sĂ©jour ne supportant plus l’odeur. Nous suivrons. Il a plu et nous avons trouvĂ© des flaques d’eau dans le salon, l’eau ruisselant d’abord en continue le long du poĂȘle, avant que d’autres fuites se multiplient au fil des heures crĂ©ant un rideau de pluie sĂ©parant la cuisine du salon. Nous avons donc sorti serpillĂšres, sceaux et baignoire d’enfant pour contenir l’eau, et fait en sorte que le bĂ©bĂ© de 11 mois n’aille pas jouer dans les flaques. PrĂ©venu de l'incident, la rĂ©ponse du propriĂ©taire fut « pourtant je l’ai fait rĂ©parer deux fois, ils n’ont pas du trouver les fuites », pour enchaĂźner « bon de toute façon, dans le Luberon en Ă©tĂ© il pleut rarement ». Nous nous attendions plutĂŽt Ă  "je suis dĂ©solĂ© pour cet inconvĂ©nient". Mais non. CĂŽte chambres, les interrupteurs, les plafonniers et les prises de courants sont montĂ©s en sĂ©rie de sorte que lorsque vous Ă©teignez la lumiĂšre, le courant n’alimente plus les prises. Impossible de recharger les tĂ©lĂ©phones dans les chambres. La cuvette de douche dans la salle d’eau partagĂ©e du premiĂšre Ă©tage est Ă  ce point petite, que le jet de douche atterrĂźt en dehors du bac. Vous pouvez vous rincer en prenant la pomme de douche Ă  la main mais vous ne pouvez pas prendre de douche. Le mitigeur ne marche pas. Vous avez donc le choix entre vous rincer Ă  l’eau trop chaude ou trop froide. Nous avons trouvĂ© deux bols sales, des paquets de nourriture entamĂ©e dans les placard ainsi que des bouteilles de ketchup et mayonnaise dans le frigo. Et bien sur aucun mot d'excuse du propriĂ©taire malgrĂ© nos dĂ©boires. Choquant.

Merveilleux séjour!

Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de notre séjour. La maison est trÚs belle, spacieuse et bien équipée. Elle aussi idéalement située pour visiter les plus beaux villages du Luberon. Le propriétaire est trÚs disponible. Un sans faute !

Nous avons passĂ© d'excellentes vacances dans cette belle et grande propriĂ©tĂ©. Christophe c'est montrĂ© trĂšs serviable et accueillant. La piscine est superbe et les terrasses couverte agrĂ©able. Depuis la maison et ces extĂ©rieures un jeux d'Ă©clairage nocturne mais en valeur les arbres et l'ancienne bergerie en pierre naturelle. C'est trĂšs agrĂ©able Ă  l'heure du diner en Ă©tĂ©. Les chambres sont simple et fonctionnelles, les salles de bain et douche agrĂ©able et le sĂ©jour de bonne taille. La maison est fraiche naturellement et c'est apprĂ©ciable en Ă©tĂ©.Un terrain de pĂ©tanque Ă©clairĂ© agrĂ©mente la propriĂ©tĂ©. La cuisine est grande et fonctionnelle, il manque peut-ĂȘtre un ou deux plats de prĂ©sentations, mais pour le reste les appareils Ă©lectromĂ©nager sont correct (four, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur , congĂ©lateur , machine a cafĂ© type Nespresso, etc.). Nous avons eu un seul regret, la propriĂ©tĂ© Ă©tant tellement grande, elle n'est que partiellement clĂŽturĂ©e. Malheureusement notre chien n'a pas pu rester en libertĂ©, celui-ci Ă©tant attirĂ© par les nombreuses pistes de cette propriĂ©tĂ© d'environ 3ha de terrain. Je ne peux que recommander cette location pour des vacances dans le Luberon.
