Welcome to our home away from home in the heart of the Luberon! Nestled in the hills just above the pretty town of Apt, this spacious property offers breathtaking views, room for up to 14 guests and easy access to the region's most charming villages.

excellent stay at beautiful property in gorgeous Luberon

we spent a wonderful week. The place is beautiful with lots of room (we were a group of 7 adults and 5 children). We enjoyed the pool and the petanque field.

Fantastic place for a family holiday

We came to celebrate a significant birthday with extended family and friends (and a dog). The place was perfect. The teenagers had a fantastic time in the pool, and the adults went out discovering the surroundings each day.

We loved this house! The location was quiet and convenient, the inside was cute and clean, we loved the pool and the family seating areas, and check in and out were easy. I highly recommend this home for a large group looking to be comfortable and close to all the this region has to offer!!

Lovely Luberon Home

We had a lovely one month stay in this Provençal home. The property is well-equipped and full of options for large groups. The owner was very attentive and accomodationg. We were occasionally 12 people all with comfortable beds, enjoying the pool and pétanque games, feasts on the patio, stunning view of Saignon village and splendid time together. Easy access to many Provençal villages and marchés. A wonderful place to come home to cook and relax. Yearning to go back again!

A wonderful family holiday

We can't say enough good things about our holiday in this house. The house itself is lovely, comfortable, with plenty of space and in different permutations for all 11 of us, including our children, grandchildren and brother-in-law. Between the main house, and the little cabanon behind the pool, everyone had appropriate room and bathrooms. The glory of the property is the beautiful shaded outdoor dining/living area easily accessible from both floors of the house and overlooking the pool. We spent most of our time there underneath the shade trees, which were lit by strings of patio lights in the evening - eating, chatting on the couches, keeping an eye on people in the pool just through the fence. The pool itself was wonderful - heated, with a heated outdoor shower (!), well maintained by a friendly person who came 3 times while we were there to check on the PH, and clean out leaves. As if that weren't enough, there's a petanque court in the front garden - we spent a fair bit of time there competing, chatting, laughing. Also a portable badminton net, which we moved around to stay in the shade. A fabulous view of Saignon from many angles, and an easy drive to get there for breakfast at Chez Christine, dinner at Le Jardin sur le Toit, and many other delights. Fun to spend time at the Apt market. Friendly people on hand to show us around and hand over the keys to at the end. A memorable holiday. Thank you so much!

parfait sauf quelques détails

La maison est spacieuse et agréable, la literie est bonne, , le jardin est bien aménagé et bien clos, la piscine chauffée a été appréciée en septembre, le salon extérieur et la grande table de jardin étaient parfait. Mais la télé du salon du bas coupait après 20 minutes d'utilisation et nous n'avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner celle du haut. La chasse d'eau de l'étage fuyait, une prise de courant dans la première chambre du bas était détachée. Dans la cuisine il manquait des casseroles permettant de cuisiner pour 12. Ce sont des détails mineurs auxquels il est possible de remédier facilement et qui n'ont pas altéré la qualité de notre séjour.

Superbe villa pour séjour au calme

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de John. Elle est bien équipée, pour les adultes et les enfants. La communication était très bonne. Le terrain de pétanque est une pépite (ce serait top avec une lumière en plus pour la tombée de la nuit ?) et la piscine chauffée très agréable. La maison est située à 3min en voiture du centre ville et 15min à pied, attention c'est sur une colline donc ç Attention, les voisines ne sont pas aimables si vous avez des enfants dans la piscine ;)

Agréable séjour en Lubéron

Nous avons réuni nos enfants et petits enfants dans cette tres confortable maison: Cuisine très bien équipée, rien à redire sur la qualite de la literie, la propreté, la sécuritéde la piscine extrêmement agréable. L'accueil a été à la hauteur de ce séjour irréprochable (il m'avait juste échappé que la cuisine est au 1er étage, ce qui n'est finalement pas gênant car l'escalier exterieur qui mène directement à la tabexterieure

Parfait en tout point

Une maison très bien située, tranquille et reposante, mais avec un centre ville proche avec tous les magasins dont on a besoin. Il ne manque rien pour passer d'excellentes vacances en famille. Toute la région est superbe à visiter et il y aura inévitablement quelques endroits qui ravissent la vue et les papilles. Nous conseillons fortement.

Une superbe semaine de Noël à Apt.

Nous nous sommes retrouvés en famille chez John à Apt pour la semaine de Noël. Les instructions fournies préalablement étaient très claires, l'accueil chaleureux avec en bonus un sapin et des décorations de Noël. La maison est très fonctionnelle et il y fait bon vivre. Nous ne nous sommes jamais sentis à l'étroit pourtant nous étions 13. Le sympathique cabanon séparé où 2 personnes peuvent loger est un plus. A noter aussi le superbe boulodrome. La région est splendide; nous avons eu la chance d'avoir du soleil et un grand ciel bleu pratiquement toute la semaine, ce qui a permis de bien en profiter. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter.

Parfait séjour dans une agreable maison

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette magnifique maison parfaitement située dans les hauteurs d'Apt avec de très jolies vues sur les colines alentour. John, le propriétaire, et Jennifer, ont été aux petits soins avec nous et ont fait en sorte que le séjour se passe à merveille. La maison est parfaitement équipée, et nous avons même pu profiter des vélos pour faire quelques escapades dans les environs. A noter que les vélos sont de très bonne qualité, ce qui est assez rare dans les gîtes en location. On reviendra tres certainement dans les années à venir!

Contact avec les propriétaires parfait. Super accueil sur place de Jennifer. Maison idéale pour notre groupe de 10 (2 familles avec enfants de plus de 18 ans) avec chacun sa place, une cuisine parfaitement équipée et nous avons même fait des pizzas dans le four à pain du jardin :)) Grosse chaleur donc difficile d’aller se promener… heureusement la belle piscine a permis de contenter tout le monde ainsi que le terrain de pétanque et la table de Ping Pong. Région superbe et petits villages voisins très sympas avec de très bonnes adresses transmises par John :) Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette maison !

Magnifique et spacieuse maison aménagée avec goût

Nous avons séjourné à deux familles dans cette très belle maison située à proximité de Apt. La très grande piscine a ravi tout le monde et l’espace intérieur a permis à chacun d’avoir son espace d’intimité. La décoration ajoute un côté très cosy à la location et la grande table extérieure permet de prendre tous les repas dans le jardin sans problème. L’escalier pour y accéder est un peu raide mais avec l’habitude, on s’y fait sans problème. Le petit bémol serait pour la salle de bain unique mais franchement, cela n’a pas du tout terni notre séjour. Séjour top au cœur d’une région qui vous promet de bien belles surprises. On recommande.

We live in London and love France, especiially the Luberon which we have been visiting for years. Our children and grandchildren of all ages love the house and the area.

Why they chose this property

The house is extremely versatile. You can easily accommodate 12 or more people whilst for smaller group of 3-4 people the upstairs works extremely well. The house was the first house built in 1969 and the owners chose the best site with amazing views. Originally the owners lived upstairs. Later a new garage was added to the side and rooms established downstairs. The cabin in the garden adds a great additional dimension to the property. We have been making the houe more green by adding solar panels and air-source heat pumps for the airconditiong and the pool.

What makes this property unique

Children and teenagers love the cabin. They spend the evenings there and adults can enjoy the house and eating area outside. The proximity to Apt means teenage children can walk down the hill and enjoy the town and the market whenever they want. This makes for a much more relaxing holiday for everyone and frees you from having to get in a car to go anyway. We love the cycling to Saignon wehere we go most days for morning coffee - and our bikes are availble to all.
