About this property

Eco Strawbale Home on One Acre

Do you want to experience living in a strawbale house? Our home sits on one acre with beautiful views of surrounding hills and mountains and is dog friendly. The home has stone and earthen floors, interior and exterior earthen plastered walls, and we used locally sourced materials where possible. Easy access to some of the best outdoor living in the country: fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, and skiing.

House is custom designed with circular main room (living, kitchen, dining) with bath and small bedroom. We also have a studio behind the main house that can provide some extra privacy.

Our place is 45 minutes from Wolf Creek with 6 miles of county maintained gavel road. The driveway is 300' with moderate uphill. We have a snowblower and tractor but 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter months.

Our Vacation Rental Permit is 79G-X2R. You can see reviews of our house at: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/31494296
