This was just what we were looking for. A little privacy away from town with easy access. It was exceptionally clean with everything we needed. I would definitely rent this property again.
Very nice property. Quiet and well appointed. Only minor suggestion: it would have been nice to have a toaster. Enjoyed our stay!

Thank you so much for the amazing review. I will be sure to add a toaster to the kitchen. I have two sitting in storage unused, and didn't even think to have one in the house. Much appreciated ☺️
Wonderful location off the beaten path. Location was close to town but situated far enough away giving it a country feel. Host was warm and friendly. We look forward to staying there again.

I am so glad you guys enjoyed your stay. Thank you for leaving the place so nice and clean at check-out, and good luck this hunting season when you return to Pagosa.
Thank you, Stephanie
We enjoyed out time here. Property was quiet and great that it had a fenced in yard for our dog. Mattresses were a plus. Stephanie was great with communication.
Communications with the property owner was excellent. It was all as described. It was very spacious very comfortable very clean very quiet, very relaxing not too far from town. I would definitely stay here again and anybody else that needs a place to stay. This is the place!!!
Stress free experience from booking until departure. Great location, situated away from the hustle and bustle and close enough to all the amenities that they’re convenient. Residence was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided for. Our fur babies enjoyed having the large dog run area and piece of the area. Highly recommend giving this little jewel a try!

Thank you for your feedback. I was surprised to read your comment about the neighbor, as the individual you’re referring to is one of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve ever lived near. Having tractors and equipment on the property is simply part of our agricultural estate–zoned neighborhood and doesn’t reflect negatively on character.
As for the drive, the home is located on a hill, which many guests find to be part of its charm and appeal. During the summer months, the property is very accessible, and in my check-in instructions I provide two routes, including an alternate option with a gentler incline. It sounds like you may have taken the steeper route, but the alternate route is always available to guests year-round.
We were so pleased with everything! Stephanie was a great host, providing us with a warm welcome and assistance with local activities and restaurants. The appliances in the kitchen are all in great condition. The smart T. V. has a wide selection of shows and movies. The beds are very comfortable. Everything was clean and in great working condition. Our dog was thrilled with the large backyard and space to play. We were visited by deer every evening. The grocery store, Walmart, and the hot springs are all within 10-15 minutes. We look forward to returning again.

Perfect
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was exactly as stated and we had the most relaxing week. The rental is actually really big on the inside and it has everything you'll need during your stay. The fridge is large, the kitchen is stocked and bedrooms are large (so are the baths). Stephanie is very helpful if you have questions before or during your stay. We were worried about the water conservation thing but it wasn't a problem for us at all. As others have said, 4x4 would be needed in the winter. I hope we are able to come back next year. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that wants a nice getaway from town. Thanks again, Stephanie!

Rested our mind and bodies
This was the perfect getaway. The cabin is very clean and far enough away yet close enough to enjoy everything Pagosa has to offer. Stephanie offered us help on what to do but we knew what we wanted. Fish, river tube, soak in the hot springs and relax. Our 2 dogs loved it too, we opened the back door and let them come and go as they pleased thanks to the fenced in dog area. We will go back, for longer next time.

Great Cabin
Prior to arrival we had some questions and Stephanie was very quick to respond. We met her upon arrival and she was very nice and helpful. This cabin was great, plenty of room and very clean. We had a deer in our backyard one morning which we loved seeing. We also put up a hummingbird feeder and had several visitors. This cabin has a great price and we would highly recommend it.

Thank you William. Pleasure to have you and your friends and doggy. So glad your holidays at the cabin were a joy.
For future guests I want to mention that all wheel drive vehicles can also access the property in extreme weather. There is an alternate route that takes 1.7 miles longer. I use this as my commute in super snowy and icy conditions. I do it very carefully though:)
Come back anytime,
Happy owner
