You couldn’t ask for a better Host. Ms. Willene was such a sweet lovely person. We enjoyed feeding the trout in the River. This was our best yet stay in Hiawassee.

Our Host were excellent and helped us beyond our expectations. We had car trouble they were very helpful.

Our stay at Hiawassee River Cabin was absolutely wonderful\! The cabin was beautiful, clean, peaceful, and truly felt like a home away from home\. The owners were exceptionally gracious and welcoming\. They accepted our dog without hesitation and loved her just as much as we do, which meant the world to us\. They even helped us feed the fish in the pond—such a simple but special experience that added to the wonderful memories we made\.The beautiful mountain setting provided the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy time together\. It was clear that the owners genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable and memorable\. We did not want to leave and would wholeheartedly recommend Hiawassee Cabins to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming getaway\. We cannot wait to return\!

Charming, extremely pet friendly and great location for many hiking trails. My dog and I hiked the mornings away, and relaxed by the creek at night. Wilhene is the perfect hostess, making you feel like your coming home to visit family, not here to just check out the local sites.

This was our second visit to Willene’s beautiful place on the Hiawassee. It is so cozy and relaxing, and she has supplied everything you could possibly think of that you might want or need. Sitting down by the water with our coffee in the mornings and having fires at night with a glass of wine at the fire pit were some of our favorite things to do. It’s so beautiful! The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We really wished we could’ve stayed longer!We consider her beautiful place our home away from home and we can’t wait to come back! And Miss Willene is the sweetest!!

Willene, the host was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, it rained the entirety of our stay so we were unable to fully enjoy the river but it was beautiful and I’m sure we would have enjoyed spending time there if it wasn’t raining so much! Our grandchildren stopped by and were able to enjoy the river for a bit! We did visit Helen, Georgia on one day and on our last night there we had dinner at Hiawassee Brew. The food was really good and the ciders and beers were tried were all amazing! I’m sure we would stay there again in the future.
