Cozy Cowboy Cottage at Spotted Dance Ranch

Spotted Dance Ranch is different from your typical VRBO since we are a working horse ranch and live on site. You won't be sent a gate code and never meet anyone. We are a small guest ranch and horse breeding facility that has been hosting guests since 2014. Come stay in our cozy Cowboy Cottage located on the beautiful ranch grounds, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the ranch located adjacent to the Croom Tract of the Withlacoochee State Forest! Depending on the time of your stay, you may get to see this year's foal, or campers and their horses will also be staying on ranch grounds near the cottage. Bring your horse if you have one (note that we do not offer trail riding on our horses); otherwise, many other outdoor activities and attractions are available nearby, or just relax! We are conveniently located outside Brooksville, Florida near I-75.

What a peaceful location! A quaint/older cottage - but cute for our one-night stay. Communication was excellent. John welcomed us and introduced us to the horses (which was a treat!).

Quite Getaway

I wanted to find a quiet place to stay over the Christmas holiday. This was just the ticket. Such a beautiful well kept horse farm. Even the horses were friendly. I would definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

Beautiful Views

We came to Florida to look at homes and Kym and John were very welcoming and gave us a lot of information on the areas. The farm is beautiful and it’s so much nicer than a hotel. Our 2 night stay was great! Getting to wake up, make coffee and sit outside and watch the horses was so relaxing. We will definitely stay again

Horse farm getaway

We absolutely loved Kym’s horse farm cottage. What a slice of heaven to escape to such a quiet, peaceful retreat. Kym was extremely nice and accommodating. The cottage was super cute, clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, plenty of towels, etc. we loved every minute and wish we had a longer stay. Will be back, thank you!

Short but Sweet

We needed a place to stay close to the Sumter Equestrian Center and Kym's Cottage was absolutely perfect. We only utilized it for about 11 hours so our stay was short and can't review much on extra amenities she provides. However, the shower was hot, and bed decent and a short drive to the SEC the next morning. Thank you, Kym for your hospitality!

Everything was just perfect in this cute cottage on a horse ranch. I loved stepping on the back porch & seeing a couple of the horses. The place had everything I needed & the bed slept comfortably. Would stay there again- hopefully longer!

My husband and I had to come down for a funeral. We were looking at hotels when we came across this listing. It was above our expectations and we had a great time. Waking up to a phenomenal view was the best part and the owners were so friendly. We hope to stay again!
