Unique renovated tower, sleeps 2 set among vines near St Emilion
The tower sleeps 2 people (double bed only) and although it is self-catering accommodation, we provide essential breakfast ingredients on arrival - coffee, tea, milk, sugar, jam, butter, homemade granola and there are other useful ingredients such as oil, vinegar, salt, pepper.
The accommodation is on three floors with open stone staircases, so not suitable for children or anyone with mobility problems. The tower has a small but fully equipped kitchen and a private little grass area around it with a terrace and gas bbq so you can cook and eat outside watching the sun set over the hills and vineyards around. All bed linen and towels are provided.
We are situated right on the edge of the medieval village of Gensac so within walking distance of a butcher, baker, little supermarket, pharmacy, cash machine and hairdresser but there is no public transport to speak of so it's really essential to hire a car.

Fabulous converted tower. Well kitted out. Beautiful views and private space away from the main house for dining etc. Lovely home made breakfast ingredients provided. Would highly recommend and stay again
We stayed for a week in late June 2026, coinciding with one of Europe's hottest weeks on record. As a result we had some of the most amazing sunsets to watch from the roof and we were very grateful for the fan in the bedroom! Everything was beautifully clean, and the tower is kitted out with everything you need for a relaxing time, including Fiona's famous welcome pack. Although the tower is in such a quiet, relaxing environment amongst the trees and next to a vineyard, it's only a few minutes' walk away from the village where we enjoyed a meal out and got everything we needed in the very well stocked local shop. Its also a great location to explore the region.Fiona and Mark allow you just to enjoy your holiday although are responsive when asked about anything, including recommending the Park and Ride in Bordeaux, and they left very useful house & area information. Many thanks for a lovely holiday, will recommend!

Lovely little place to relax and unwind
We had a wonderful week here, loved the location, the tower, the view and the village. Wonderful place to stay and explore the surrounding area, or wander along the river banks and through the vineyards.
