About this property

Peaceful home in the woods, Saugatuck Township

Nicely appointed two bedroom home with a spa like atmosphere. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of beautiful wooded surroundings, while being just steps from Lake Michigan and a short distance from all the attractions. Watch the sunset with a picnic or beverage from Sundown Park at the end of the lane. Dine alfresco on the patio around the firepit, relax with a massage and soak in the hot tub , or enjoy a night of karaoke or a movie in the entertainment room.

Douglas/Saugatuck are just a few minutes up the road, and it is a straight line down hwy 89 to Fennville, wineries, Crane's orchard, and great antiquing. Nature activities are in abundance...Hiking, beaches, Sunsets, Skiing, or just viewing. Enjoy a trip to local farms and wineries, then grab the backpack in the house, and enjoy the Sunset from the beach with a picnic!

There are two bedrooms, one with a King sized bed, the other a queen. There is a pull out sofa in the dining/sitting room.
Both bathrooms have radiant heat flooring, and one is equipped with a steam shower. The kitchen is well appointed and there is plenty of room to gather.

The home is accessed by a keyless entry. There is an exterior security camera which guests can unplug upon their arrival.

We reside in a home to the rear of the property, through the woods. But you are completely private.

We do not discriminate, all are welcome, including your fur babies! There are friendly neighborhood pets around.

This house offers the cozy feel of home, the beauty of the woods, the view of Lake Michigan at the end of the lane, and beach access a short bike ride or walk away (Pier Cove beach is about a mile down the road. Several other Beaches are a short drive away...Oval Beach, Glenn Beach, Douglas Beach and West Side County Park).

The house is best suited for couples, or 6 people total. We have a pull out sofa as well. Please do not bring extra guests without proper notification. The house is prepared for the number booked. Extra charges may apply.

Pets are welcome. Be advised we have no fence, and are in the woods. Please be assured of your Pets' manners in the home. Extra cleaning charge for pets is assessed.

Kitchen well stocked with spices, utensils and gadgets. Peaceful setting in the woods, very relaxing. Town is only five minutes away. The dogs loved walking down to the park at the end of the road. This vacation rental truly felt like a home. Everything as described and then some. Our 12 and 14 year old rode bikes down the lane each day. We are both retired from Law Enforcement in St. Louis, now permanently living here. Some of our family live as well. We so fell in love with this part of Michigan and are so happy to now be residents. We hope to share this gem of a home with others and hope you will love it as much as we do.

This home is set in a beautiful wooded surrounding, and a park is literally at the end of our short road. We can afford a million dollar view...literally. With virtually no neighbors. A beautiful bike ride takes us to the beaches, or local market. A few minutes drive takes us to the best rated resort towns.
