• Enjoy our restaurant-pizzeria with its wood-fired oven—perfect after a beautiful day of hiking or cycling. Open from April 4th to September 13th, 2026.

Superbe gîte, vaste et très bien équipé, petit rooftop très agréable ! Espace piscine magnifique, même si l’eau était encore un peu froide en tout début de saison 😅 Le restaurant attenant est également très bon, avec pizzas xxl et produits frais

Aanrader voor een zalige vakantie!

We zijn door de vriendelijke eigenaars hartelijk ontvangen in deze prachtige verblijfplaats voor een vakantie in de Ardèche. Alles is stijlvol afgewerkt met kwalitatieve materialen. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met alle denkbare toestellen en het zwembad brengt het vakantiegevoel meteen binnen. Stop zeker even bij de aangrenzende pizzeria, absoluut de moeite waard om een hapje te eten.

Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité des lieux. La gentillesses des propriétaires. La qualité exceptionnelle du gite, avec du mobilier et des équipements haut de gamme, d'une propreté immaculée. L'espace piscine est un petit paradis sur terre. Tous les critères sont réunis pour passer un séjour d'exception.

Prestations exceptionnelles

Nous n'avions encore jamais séjourné dans un gite offrant un tel niveau de prestations. Le gite est superbe: décoration, équipements tout est parfait. Il y a plein de petites attentions très délicates: du café, du thé, de l'huile d'olive sont à disposition dans la cuisine. la piscine est le clou du spectacle. Logée dans les rochers elle a la taille d'une piscine d'hotel ! La proximité du restaurant - délicieux - est très pratique si l'on ne souhaite pas cuisiner. la région est superbe, les propriétaires très agréables. Que demander de plus? allez un terrain de pétanque sous les arbres, devant le restaurant serait génial

Juste parfait!

Propriétaires très sympathiques, aux petits soins. Gîte superbe, propreté, équipements,... décoration,... tout au top. A recommander même si l'on préfèrerait garder cette destination rien que pour nous ;o) Il faut aussi souligner que toutes les précautions et recommandations liées au covid 19 sont strictement respectées (bravo aux propriétaires), cela permet de se sentir en sécurité.

Sur les rives du Chassezac

Laure et Laurent mettent tout en œuvre pour passer un séjour parfait, avec un gîte restauré à neuf, suréquipé et une attention toute particulière à la déco. Leur gentillesse et la qualité de leurs conseils sont remarquables. Et l’endroit est juste magnifique, au cœur des bois de Païolive.

Une magnifique semaine à la Bastide d'Edouard

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine à la Bastide d'Edouard en famille. Les propriétaires sont disponibles, super aimables, ils nous ont donné de très bons conseils pour faire des visites et des activités. Les logements ( nous avons loué les 2 appartements ) sont magnifiques, aménagés et décorés avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons évidemment beaucoup apprécié la piscine qui nous était exclusivement réservée. La région est très belle également, nous n'hésiterons pas à y revenir, sans oublier les succulentes pizza au C4. Merci Laure et Laurent.

A Family Story This adventure began in 1975, when two young newlyweds, Vincent and Michèle, their son Laurent and his grandfather Edouard, moved into this old ruined bastide. At that time, there was no bridge connecting to the village of Casteljau, nor a tarred road... just a ruined building on the peninsula of Lauzaces in Casteljau, at the end of the world. In 1977, a small restaurant-pizzeria was born with Vincent at the wood-fired oven and Michèle at the reception, the business became "la bastide". Then in 1981, the bar "le c4" opened with the iconic Citroën c4 parked in front of the entrance to the site. Since then, Laurent, the son, has become a chef. With his wife Laure, he then developed the restaurant Le C4, a friendly and family-friendly place where wood-fired grills rub shoulders with pizzas. In 2015, in tribute to his grandfather, "La bastide d'Edouard" was born in the large stone building, where two 5* accommodations "LAGON" and "RIVIERE" are available for rent. In June 2022, the opening of La Villa LAUMAGA 5* will follow. The swimming pool is exclusively reserved for guests staying in the accommodations.
