Featuring beautiful year-round mountain views and colorful sunrises, you will relax in the tranquility of the North Georgia mountains in pampered, peaceful comfort. Solitude is located about 15 minutes from either downtown Blue Ridge or McCaysville.

Solitude has top quality furnishings and decor along with lots of extra touches. 5.5 acres of woods surround our 2420 sq ft cabin to create a peaceful and private retreat. Enjoy wrap around decks and gorgeous sunrises over the layered mountain views. We have all underground utilities so nothing to spoil nature or the view.

Upper Level Primary: King bed with 4k TV and private ensuite bathroom.
Upper level Loft: XL Twin bed in the "Bears Den".
Main Level Bedroom: Queen bed with an adjacent full bathroom.
Lower Level Bedroom: Queen bed with an adjacent full bathroom.
Lower Level Living Area: Queen pullout sofa bed.

Great room main level with gas fireplace and 4k TV
Kitchen main level fully stocked and equipped. 2 ice makers, 4 types of coffeemakers (Keurig, French press, Pour-over and Drip). Cooking oil, spices and more.
Game room on terrace level with gas fireplace, full sized pool table, 4k TV, PlayStation 4, tons of family games and puzzles.

5.5 acres of walk-able property and not another cabin in sight! SOLITUDE is the perfect spot for your personal or family getaway no matter what activities you enjoy. This is an ideal location with great mountain views and is near everything in North Georgia!


Gas fireplaces are operational from approximately Oct. 1 to April 1.

The cabin and hot tub are professionally cleaned and disinfected in between every guest stay. Hot tub uses bromine, not chlorine.


***By booking this cabin you acknowledges the following house rules***


Booking guest must be at least age 25 and must be present for the duration of the rental.
No Pets allowed.
No Smoking inside or on decks. This is a wood cabin and we love it intact.
No Parties.
No Fireworks.
No unapproved guests and no more than the 8 capacity limit.
You will be asked to fill out a registration form so we know who you are.


We have limited check out chores. Garbage should be secured in the outdoor bins, used towels dropped in the tub and the dishwasher turned on.


There are 3 Exterior cameras on our driveway and door with motion activated audio and video.


During checkout VRBO will offer you a choice of either a $59 insurance payment to cover up to $1500 of damage or you can pay a $1500 deposit. We recommend the $59 coverage! If you choose to have VRBO take an extra $1500 it will be charged at the time of your reservation and you will not receive it back until 14 days after your stay. VRBO will charge your credit card and hold this deposit not us!
