This is a rare apartment in the center of historic Angra, a UNESCO World Heritage City, with an outdoor terrace providing wide views of the ocean and city rooftops and steeples. It is I also above the city’s only sandy beach, which is just a set of stairs away. There is a spacious high-ceiling living room, with French doors leading to the ocean view terrace. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room that seats eight and a garden room with picnic table. An assortment of fine and casual restaurants and cafes are all a short walk away, as are museums, historic sights and the lovely Duke of Terceira Garden. There are also car rental agencies and tour operators in the neighborhood for island sightseeing. The many hiking trails of Monte Brasil are a short walk away.

We are Americans with family ties to Angra. The property is managed by a local hotel manager will meet and help you get oriented to find your way around the neighborhood and island.
Why they chose this property
This is one of the few houses or apartments in the center of the city where you can walk out from the living room onto a terrace with wide views of the ocean. It's easy to tour the island from the city, but coming home to a city apartment is the best way to enjoy Terceira, with so much, bars, groceries, restaurants and cafes a short walk away on cobblestone streets. City life at the beach.
What makes this property unique
At night, you can hear the waves lapping on the beach and the bells of the 16th Century cathedral, just a block away.
