About this property

Affordable Disney Area Vacation Condo

2 bedroom/2 bath condo with WIFI - minutes from the entrance of Disney Parks and SeaWorld. Owner rented and set up to be a home away from home, complete with children's toys. No waking to the pitter patter of feet, we are on the second floor.

This is our second 'home' we use a few times a year, our children love it, our renters have said “It was so nice not to have to drag toys.” “Our son is autistic and felt comfort in a home atmosphere.” 'It was a home away from home'.

There are tennis courts, swimming pool, hot tub, fitness room, and wireless internet access at the club house. The condo is set in a quieter location just off of 192. We are an hour to Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center and Busch Gardens. Universal Studios is 10 minutes away, Old Towne is 1 mile. Orange County Convention Center is 10 minutes away and 1.5 miles to The Gaylord Palm.

For those who desire shopping the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets is 3.5 miles away. There is a fantastic petting zoo on the same road as our condo called Green Meadows Petting Farm it is 4.5 miles away. For a day away from standing on line at the parks kids get a hay ride, train ride , horse back rides and lots of animal petting.

Our condo is also conveniently located near the Super Walmart and Super Target for all you economical shopping needs, and your Disney souvenir headquarters at a significant discount from the parks.

Places is a little dated could use some dates. More wash rags, could only find microfiber dust cloths. Master bathroom could use a good bleach treatment for mold. Cable issue was fixed in a timely manner and once we figured out which of the 5 remotes that worked it was ok. Washer pressure was good compared to some places we’ve stayed. Overall a decent stay that served its purpose for a week of theme parks.

Excellent area, nearby all the parks. Walmart is couple minutes away which is convenient as well as tons of restaurants/fast food. On-site pool is nice and closes at 11pm. Owners are nice and very receptive if you need assistance. Would definitely go back.

Nice stay- for the most part

We stayed in July, 2015. The condo was clean & comfortable. It's not high-end decor, but that's not our priority. It's nice, clean, & a good value. It's easy to book & to work with the owners. There's a pond in the back that is viewable from the master bedroom. We had a daily "visit" (meaning view-of) a young gator (about 4') & a turtle! The condo is very well-equipped. I was very impressed at the strollers & toys provided - our daughter is too old for strollers, but still! the biggest issue we had was that I contracted a severe infection in my big toes. The doctor believes it was from a pool (I hadn't even told her yet that I had swam in it - one time). A neighboring renter had advised us that they got a rash & their son got an ear infection, that they suspected was from the pool-but they weren't sure. But this is not the owner's issue, this is on the management. I just have to mention it in hopes that 1. The owners can express this to the management; and 2. To let others know that this is a possible issue. I received the infection on day 1 so we couldn't use the pool during our whole vacation! It was also very painful & i had to use a wheelchair at the parks. So disappointing - especially for our daughter. The pool & area around it were nice & clean (by appearance) though.

We followed up on your comment with regard to the pool after this post in July and August and even had a resident board member go to the pool to observe and assess the situation. As a resident they had not had an issue and use the pool often but we take comments serious and have also reached out to Sutherland Management, our property management company to ensure our guests have a pleasant and safe stay.

The property is in a great location if you are visiting the Disney parks. We stayed for 4 nights and basically only slept and ate a few meals at the property. As others shared in their reviews, the condo is slightly dated and in need of a few basic repairs (peeling wallpaper, one kitchen cabinet off the hinges, master bedroom mattress has a dead spot, etc.). I'm not sure we would stay here again as neither my husband or I slept great the entire trip, but the price was fair for what we got with this property.

We ended up at this property during hurricane Ian and I was not comfortable trying to outrun the storm. David was absolutely amazing and constantly checking on us to make sure we were ok. He sent us a list of how to be better prepared for it and was there for any questions. I would 100% stay there again.

We came into town for a conference. The condo was perfect for us.

With two bedrooms and 2 baths. It was perfect. It was very clean and plenty of room to get ready for the next day. The grocery store is right around the corner so we could pick up food or anything we forgot very easily. We will definitely look at staying again when we are in town.

2nd Stay, no complaints

This is a great condo close to all the parks, shopping, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our second stay here just as much as the first time. The condo needs a little tlc to fix up some small niggles you would expect from a home constantly in use however it is clean and has excellent facilities.

The location of the property was perfect in terms of proximity to the parks and also to Kissimmee attractions. The condo complex was easy to find and the property was clean and well maintained. The condo itself is definitely outdated, but the size was good for a small family. The kitchen sink had barely any water pressure, and there is no sprayer, so it was difficult to wash dishes. The appliances were old but worked. It was definitely nice having a washer and dryer. The temperature dropped into the 40’s on the nights we were there, and out of 5 nights we were there, the furnace did not work for two of the nights. The owner did respond quickly and had it fixed and did give us a one night refund. It was very very cold on those nights. For two of the five days we were there, the pool was shut down. There was a chain on the fence and a sign saying it was shut down by the city for unsafe conditions. It did open on day three. We just wanted to sit at the pool for a little sun. It was kind of a bummer. A few outdoor chairs would be nice outside the front door on the porch. Even though I would say we didn’t have the best of luck here, I would stay again because the price was right and we were within 15 minutes of all Disney attractions. We didn’t spend that much time at the condo. It worked for us. Again, you can’t beat the location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dave and Colleen's place in Kissimmee. The condo was spacious and clean. Comfortable master bed. Very easy check in - no problems communicating with hosts several times prior to our arrival. This unit has lots of light and is in an easy-to-get-to-everything location. The condo community has a neighborhood feel to it, and while right off of Highway 192, is quiet and feels cozy and tucked away. We were able to take morning walks just out of the complex. While there, we had some questions for our hosts and they responded immediately to our needs. Very personable and accessible. We would absolutely stay here again if we travel to Kissimmee. Many thanks to Dave and Colleen for providing such an enjoyable stay.
