Limelight Cottage is a quaint 1943 downtown Blue Ridge cottage! Located on a quiet street, one block from the Black Sheep restaurant, it’s only a short walk to downtown’s shops, bars, restaurants and more! Conveniently located to other areas in the North Georgia mountains like Aska, Lake Blue Ridge, Blairsville, and McCaysville. Only a short drive to the Tri-State area, Horseshoe Bend Park, Toccoa River, Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino, and many orchards and wineries. So many fun activities to walk to: Escape Blue Ridge, The Art Center, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and much more! The home has been completely updated and renovated. Two master suites: a King bedroom with full bathroom (shower) and a Queen bedroom with full bathroom (tub/shower combo). Could potentially sleep additional kids in living area, if you bring your own air mattress or if someone wants to sleep on the sofa (not a pull out). Front porch offers a relaxing seating area to sit and talk while back patio has ample seating around the fire pit. Completely updated kitchen, including Keurig for coffee, so don't forget your pods! Enjoy the kitchen dining or eat in the sun room, overlooking the patio and backyard. Gas grill on back patio. Lots to see and do in the Blue Ridge Mountains!

The Limelight Cottage is close to downtown and you can walk to events, restaurants, and shopping. The Blue Ridge train is also nearby. We enjoyed our weekend for the Blues & BBQ Festival! The floor plan with 2 BR & 2 BA is perfect for couples. It also has a half bath and laundry room. We enjoyed sitting on the front lawn and listening to the bands on Saturday evening.

The property was a perfect size for a family or two couples, the location to downtown blue ridge worked well to walk to the local shops and restaurants.Less than a 5 minute drive was a Walmart for getting essentials and the kitchen was well equipped with cooker, microwave grill and top range fridge freezer.The front overlooked the jail and as a result was a very quiet part of townWould throughly recommend the property

Location Location Location!!!We have been coming to Blue Ridge for many years, and have always been up in the mountains…that is until we saw this little gem available to rent. Because it is tucked away it still has the peace and quiet as the mountains. It is very well appointed and very comfortable for two as well as a family/friends. This cottage is 1 block from Mainstreet, which was so wonderful. When you are up in the mountains you have to travel down to Blue Ridge. This was a quick 48-hour trip and being able to walk into town gave us more time to enjoy. The cottage has a fire pit which would be wonderful in cooler weather. Rainy day? It is stocked with various games to pass the time. Please give little gem serious consideration when thinking about a visit to Blue Ridge.

This is our second time staying at and enjoying this property. It is convenient to downtown of warm enough to walk and only a short drive to other places. I enjoy cooking in the large kitchen. The place is always very clean and Tiffany always responds quickly to questions. I encourage you to also enjoy this property.

Everything was as advertised and worry free. Tiffany was great and helped me quickly with an item I left behind. The gas fire place was nice and the outdoor fire pit was awesome. It was a great location, we could walk to everything downtown and it was a short drive to nice hikes.

We currently live outside of Atlanta but our daughter and her family moved up this way about 5 years ago. We wanted to get something that would be convenient to visit with them but also somewhere we would enjoy coming, just the two of us. So, we went looking and bought this home in June after it was renovated by the seller. We were looking for a vacation rental for us to come and stay occasionally but also for others to enjoy. We were originally looking for a cabin, but when we came across this home, with its many conveniences, we decided to go for the downtown living atmosphere and we're so glad we did! The best of both worlds, being in the mountains but also the atmosphere of small city living and all it has to offer!

Why they chose this property

We've set this property up to be a simple getaway for both us and our guests to enjoy. Not too much frill, but a relaxing stay none-the-less. Its convenient location is great for walking or driving, everything is only a short distance away!

What makes this property unique

We love this home because of the cottage charm, with the barn door, the beams and the open floor plan. So much character in a small area! We decorated the bedrooms with unique themes, both classic and modern at the same time. The outside fire pit and the quiet street, it's so relaxing and a great getaway, yet so close to all the action!
