UHC LARIMAR - Fantastic family apartment with swimmingpool

The UHC LARIMAR complex is located in the centre of Salou, 5 minutes walking from the beach. It has an enormous communal swimming pool with a hydromassage area, surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds, garden, 2 tennis courts, 2 paddle courts and a children's park perfect for the little ones. We have several apartments in this complex, which is why it is ideal for families travelling together. Some small basic characteristics or furniture and decoration may vary slightly depending on the accommodation, but they all have the same main characteristics. Special requests such as a specific apartment, the view or the exact floor are not guaranteed and are strictly upon request. You can request this when making your booking.



DISTRIBUTION:

These apartments for 5 people have everything to satisfy all your needs during your stay. They are distributed as follows:

- Spacious terrace

- Living-dining room with direct access to the terrace. There is a double sofa bed.

- Double bedroom with a double bed.

- Children's bedroom with two single beds.

- Well-equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils and crockery.

- Full bathroom (with bath or shower).



GOOD TO KNOW:

- Free WiFi in the communal area. This service is provided by the owners' administration of the complex and UHC will not be responsible for limitations or cuts.

- Seasonal outdoor swimming pool.

- Group bookings are not accepted.

- Tourist tax not included in the accommodation price. Key collection is done at Universal Holiday Centre offices located at Avenida del Batlle Pere Molas 3, Salou. It is mandatory to register online at least 24 hours prior to arrival. This includes the occupant details required according to Royal Decree 933/2021 and making all payments. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee key delivery. The agency will contact in advance to provide all necessary information in this regard.

The administrative staff provided very poor service. The only redeeming feature was the technician who assisted us with our needs.- First, upon arriving at the apartment, we found the coffee maker broken, the mop torn, and the hot water heater rusted. Only the water heater problem was resolved, but only after three days and after we warned them that we would call the health department, as we were with our three-year-old daughter.- Second, the Wi-Fi signal in the room is very weak. You have to go out to the shared areas (pool or surrounding area) to get a signal.- Third, and this was the worst of all, there were two mattresses in my daughter's room that were covered in urine and infested with insects. We had to take our daughter to the clinic, and the doctors agreed that they were bites from some type of mite.I absolutely do not recommend renting these apartments with UHC LARIMAR.

The replacement of the water heater was carried out as soon as possible and within a reasonable time frame. The incident was reported to our maintenance department on 08/10, and the technicians attended the following day. Regarding the mattresses, our team proceeded with the replacement in your presence, and no trace of mites or similar insects was detected in the ones removed. It is also important to note that you had already been staying in the apartment for almost a full week before reporting this issue. The apartment has been continuously occupied since your departure without any subsequent report of similar problems. As for the Wi-Fi, please note that in this residence the connection is community-based, and coverage may vary depending on the area of the building. We always provide a private router option for guests who require a stronger, more stable signal. We regret that your experience was not satisfactory, but we consider that our staff acted promptly and within our established procedures. Kind regards,

The property its self is nice and is a good size for a family of 4. It had everything we needed and the swimming pool was very clean and never too busy. We really enjoyed our stay here and the shops were within walking distance. I feel I should mention how busy the street outside the apartment block is especially in the early hours of the morning. Also the lady who lives below this apartment is very keen for anyone staying in it to be quiet. We were very quiet and tried to be respectful but one night she accused us of having a party, but we were in bed early and had been packing and cleaning the apartment to leave the following morning. In saying that I would still go back to this apartment this would not put me off. We had a really lovely relaxing holiday.

Tous nos appartements sont équipés d’un système de climatisation réversible (chaud/froid) : il suffit de sélectionner le mode chauffage sur la télécommande pour activer la pompe à chaleur. Très decu par ce sejour, pas de clim dans la chambre des enfants. Couchage normalement pour 6 personnes mais impossible car le canape lit etait raide, un matelas a été prêté dans l'attente du retour du propriétaire. Nous attendons encore... Nous ne recommandons pas du tou3. Très déçu 3 la pres9 pour le prix pay.

Brilliant time.

Arrived at our apartment once collected the keys. Nice and clean and large enough. Lovely clean pool area attended daily by grounds man and security walking around at night. As it was fiesta week it got rather noisy now and then with people singing at 3am, so ear plugs were a god send. We reported a few slight problems ie- shower curtain missing clips. bulb blown and cupboard broken also noisy air conditioner outside they fixed them promptly. will definitely stay there again as very close to all shops bars and beaches.
