Awesome family home for the holiday

Blueview retreat was the perfect home for our family Christmas gathering! The house was everthing we expected, spotless , comfortable and easy access to skiing. Everyone commented that the bed they slept in was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to create our family meals. I highly recommend this property. We loved this house! Karen was a great host and made sure everything was perfect. Wonderful views, kitchen and location. This house is great for a ski trip with friends or family. It is very close to Copper and A-basin and about and hour and a half to Winter Park and Steamboat.

UNBELIEVABLE HOUSE IN AWESOME NEIGHBORHOOD!!!

Phenomenal house and location

We stayed at this house with my brother, his wife, their kids and grandkids. The house is in perfect condition and appear to be brand new. It is valued on Zillow at over $2 million and feels that way. Everything was perfect. The landlord is meticulous and very classy. We will definitely stay there next year.

This VRBO is one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed at. It is well equipped, spotless, with plenty of room for everyone to relax in. Highly recommend for anyone. Christmas Vacation

Our little family of 3 stayed here for a week. It flew by because we had so much fun. The house was amazing, we had our little 16month old daughter with us. There were baby gates readily available to use throughout the house. Location was amazing, there was a park with a sledding hill just a quarter mile away(sleds already provided in the garage). Stars from the hot tub were incredible. Fireplace both inside and outside. Karen is a kind and thoughtful host. Cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a top notch place to take your family look no further. I spent hours and hours looking for the perfect house and this is it! Thank you for an amazing week in the mountains!

💕❄️🧣🧤WE WILL BE BACK. This house was marvelous. Plenty of space for all 9 of us. Home was decorated with such charm and modern mountain flair. Great outdoor areas for the kids to play, build forts and explore. The hot tub was glorious and maintained very well. The location of the house is excellent. We were a 15 minute drive from Keystone ski resort, 5 minute drive from shops and downtown Silverthorne, 25 minutes away from an amazing snowmobiling and tubing adventure. Thanks. Incredible stay at a luxury mountain getaway

We took a family vacation (my wife and I and our two young daughters) with our friends (who also have two young children) and stayed for 1 week at Karen’s house in Silverthorne. We could not have asked for nicer accommodations. The house was immaculate and all of the amenities met the billing for a luxury property. We loved the private hot tub on site and also spent time at the community areas which had additional hot tubs, a pool and a fitness center. We also took advantage of the snow shoes and sleds in the garage! The location was super convenient and allowed us to easily spend days skiing at both Vail and Keystone. Most importantly, Karen was incredibly responsive and attentive in helping us plan for our stay and making sure we had everything we needed for our baby (pack n play, etc). I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a luxurious getaway.

The Ultimate Colorado Experience

This home IS the ultimate Colorado experience! The floor to ceiling windows let in the bright mountain sunshine all day long with gorgeous panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, Blue River, and Lake Everest. So much to do inside (board games, cozying up by the gas fireplace with hot chocolate and Schnapps, cooking and serving gourmet meals) and out (hikes, snowshowing, hot tubbing). My family especially enjoyed sitting by the gas fireplace outside gazing at the millions of stars! Karen was the consummate host, answering our many questions and providing info about the area. Her home is beautifully decorated, spotless and very comfortable for a family (or several) or 2-5 couples, to enjoy each others’ company while maintaining separate ‘retreat’ space for all. Each room has super plush beds and comforters and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need. With attention to every detail and provision, we even found a basket with phone chargers available for our use. We had a blast and will definitely return (next time we ski!) and highly recommend this home to anyone!

Spectacular Stay!

The Blue View Retreat was even better in person than in the beautiful photos. The location was perfect, close enough to restaurants and activities, but far enough away from town to appreciate the dark starlit skies at night and the peace and quiet of the mountains. It was the perfect escape for our family from the Texas summer, if only for a little while. The property has everything you could want. We used the well-appointed kitchen to try our hand at high altitude cooking for several delicious meals, including the grill. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we all slept like babies after spending the day hiking, fishing or exploring Silverthorne, Frisco & Breckenridge. The hot tub was a nice luxury to have, and we even enjoyed s’mores outside by the fireplace. Our kids loved both the hot tub and the pool at the Aspen House, and the Lakehouse was beautiful. Karen has put together a very special property, with an extraordinary attention to detail. Every time we thought “I wish we had….” We found it as if it were placed there just for us. Check in was seamless and easy, the drive from Denver International Airport was smooth and straightforward, and the entire home was immaculate. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful New Mountain Home!

My family of 5 just spent a week in this lovely house in Silverthorne, and we already can’t wait to go back! The beds are comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cooking implements, and the living room was a comfy place to hang out in front of the fire in the evenings. The new hot tub was a big hit with our teenagers, and the views from the many windows were all stunning. Karen, our host, was super easy to communicate with and available throughout our stay whenever we had a question (though the well-thought out “welcome” binder had most necessary information about the house and the area). There were clear instructions on the remotes, laundry machines and dishwasher, which switches were for fans, and how to work the fireplaces. When I told her my sons’ ages, she offered to leave an Xbox for them to hook up while we were there! She really did think of everything. Thanks so much for giving these Texans a wonderful Colorado escape! 2020 has been a mess, but this trip was a bright spot and we are so grateful. Meg and the Fam

Spacious, clean, beautiful home for our family vacation

This property is perfect We are stayed for 2 weeks in Feb 2022. We are 6 parents/grandparents/2 small children, ages 3 and 5, who rent in Summit County, CO twice/year. This house is the best we have tried - pretty, spacious, modern, clean. The décor is attractive and not at all cluttered. Everything is high-quality, clean and comfortable. The floorplan is a big positive. The great room/kitchen was ideal for our group to cook/dine/visit, watch a movie, and play games. The kitchen nook – a small banquette in the window with a gorgeous view where one could watch the sunrise with a coffee or enjoy a cocktail in the evening - was the most popular spot! All bedrooms are large, private, quiet getaways (good soundproofing/insulation). Two of the bedrooms have “extra” spaces (a sofa in one, a day bed in the other)where a small child could nap/sleep. The kitchen was amazing for the "chefs" in our group. Very clean and well organized, good-quality everything for the family that cooks/entertains and is picky about appliances. We even had a good coffee bean grinder and cocktail shaker! The serving ware and food storage containers were abundant - all new and clean, coordinated, nicely put together (not a mish-mash of owner cast offs). Other notables: The beds/mattresses/pillows/bedlinens were high quality, new, and very comfortable. The laundry room was clean, the washer/dryer worked reliably/quietly and the room door could be closed (for more quiet). Technology throughout (heat, entertainment/streaming, wi-fi, etc.) was easy and convenient with clear, organized instructions where needed. The hot tub is new with a good seating layout so that seating is maximized (not always the case). The big basket of hot tub towels by the door was a nice touch! Other things that were appreciated were an extra garage door opener, TONS of clothes hangers (sturdy and good quality) in all closets, humidifiers in every room/bathroom. Communicating with the owner was easy - all responses were very quick. We had no issues, but if we had I feel Karen would be very prompt to get things resolved quickly. Everyone in our party commented on how ideal this place was – Karen has an over-the-top perfect property and has thought of everything. There are no negatives! We were able to enjoy 2 happy weeks of skiing and being with family in a very clean and comfortable home. We will definitely return.

We had a fun and relaxing vacation

Karen's house is modern, spacious, well stocked and sparkling clean. Karen is probably the most considerate host we have ever met, every question we had was addressed immediately and she prepared the house exactly as she described. The house is conveniently located near shopping areas and multiple ski resorts are all just a short drive away. It is especially close to A-Basin, so the house is a great place to stay for spring and early summer ski trips. Highly recommend!

At BlueViewRetreat, you won’t find mismatched furniture or a kitchen with four random forks. This home is designed like a real home with high quality furniture and decor, not just a bare minimum rental. Every detail is intentional: plush beds, spa-inspired bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and thoughtful extras like games, toys, and cozy touches throughout.

Hosting brings me joy, and I love helping guests make the most of their time in Colorado. Whether it’s your first trip to the Rockies or your tenth ski season, I’d be honored to host you and help make your stay truly memorable.

At BlueViewRetreat, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the blue skies, the sparkling blue lakes just outside our door, the snow-capped peaks, and the vibrant green and golden hues of the surrounding trees. It’s the perfect place to take in all the colors and seasons of Colorado.
