Chateau Relaxo - Farmhouse on 19 acres, Pool + pool house + Games, Sleeps 20

Welcome to Chateau Relaxo! This 1890's farmhouse is the perfect spot for family reunions, wedding parties, guys/gals weekend or a large retreat.
The farmhouse has 6 bedrooms, 6 1/2 bath and sleeps 20 (6 king bedrooms, 1 queen, 2 twin beds, 2 daybeds with trundle twins).

If additional space is needed we have a barndominium with 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath that sleeps 7 (2 king, 1 queen, 1 twin) for an additional fee.
If interested in renting the barndominium please contact through email before booking.

The farmhouse includes luxury sheets/bedding, towels, a full kitchen perfect for home cooked meals, multiple coffee makers with coffee, AC/Heat, soaking tub in two of the bedrooms, a full bathroom for all six king bed master suites, half bath off the kitchen, free WIFI, Direct TV, board games, ping pong table in the garage, toys for babies/small children upon request, washer/dryer, ironing board with iron and a hair dryer.

-The dining room offers three different tables that seat a total of 24 for the many gatherings to come.
-There are 3 fridges total (house, garage and pool house) for those who like to plan their meals ahead to bring.
-There are 2 stoves in the farmhouse kitchen and an additional stove in the pool house for your large gatherings
- Large Weber gas grill for outside grilling and a Komodo Joe grill (must provide your own lump charcoal for this grill)
- Large fire pit outside to sit around with family and friends or make smores (must provide your own wood)
-The pool house has a full kitchen and full bathroom. Enjoy the pool and hot tub and gaze at the stars with a night swim or relax on the back porch of the pool house.
-The gazebo seats 8 comfortably with outdoor lighting for a tranquil setting to enjoy morning coffee or drinks with friends during the incredible sunsets.
Watching for deer or hogs down by the creek is a common sighting. Please note that this is the country and there are critters like armadillos, raccoons, coyotes, rabbits, hogs, snakes and others that you may hear or see around the property. If you choose to venture out on the back of the property you do so at your own risk.
Enjoy the country setting just don't leave food outside overnight for them to enjoy when you head off to bed.

Paradise In the Country

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. We had a large groups of family staying with us for our daughter’s wedding in Brenham & there was PLENTY of room for everyone. The pool & pool house were amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. There was also a barn on the property if you’re hosting an event there.

4th of July trip

We had a great time for our annual 4th of July getaway. The spacious layout was perfect for our five family group. The pool and hot tub were great for both the adults and kids. This is definitely somewhere we’d recommend to others.

We decided on this property as we watched the program Fixer Upper and thought we could be like Chip and Joanna Gains. Turns out that is not the case as this was a much more difficult remodel of an old farm house. Trying to keep the old charm and add in some new features we have brought this property back to life and have enjoyed Christmas with the whole family, celebrated birthdays and even some gender reveal parties that have been extremely fun as we are able to get so many families together in one house. The previous owner added on to this original farm house many times and we liked the charm of the original wood floors and doors that really take you back.

Chappell Hill is amazing especially during the spring when the bluebonnets are blooming.

What makes this property unique

Close to almost every festival you can think of around Chappell Hill, Brenham, Round Top, Navasota, Hempstead and Bellville. Easy 30 min drive to the outlet shopping in Cypress but still far enough out in the country that you can sit in the hot tub and gaze at the stars.
