About this property

Quiet Provençal country house near Montpellier

Grabels is located in a valley surrounded by pine forests 5km north of Montpellier. Our house, which is our main residence, is in the village, all the shops are 5 minutes away on foot (grocery / caterer, bakery, butcher, tobacco / press, wine merchant, hairdresser, florist).
The nearest bus stop is less than 100 m away and the Euro-Medicine tram parking is just 3 km away. The tram will take you to Montpellier city center in 20 minutes.
If you like the beach, you will need 30 minutes by car and we are ideally placed to discover the hinterland which is full of magnificent sites to discover.
We are quiet, not overlooked, facing the pine forest. The house has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8) a bathroom, a shower room, 2 WCs, a 56 m2 lounge / dining room, a 10 x 4 salt pool, a 70 m2 shaded terrace and a garden of 2000 m2 planted with hundred-year-old olive trees. We rent weekly only from in July and August. Arrival can be on Friday, Saturday or Sunday at the convenience of the tenants.
Bed linen and towels are provided as well as a plancha to cook on the terrace.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique maison qui reste bien fraîche malgré les fortes chaleurs. Accueil très chaleureux et très bonne communication avec Monique. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée et correspondait vraiment à nos attentes. Superbe piscine qui a été un plaisir pour toute la famille.La maison est extrêmement bien située pour aller aux plages (Frontignan, Sète, étang de Thau) ainsi qu'au pont du diable, grotte des demoiselles, pic St Loup, lac de Salagou, cirque de Mourèze, Sommières,...et bien évidemment Montpellier.Merci beaucoup Monique pour vos conseils et à bientôt.

Wonderful Bastide/ Wunderschöne Bastide

Wir hatten zwei herrliche Wochen im Haus von Monique und Joel. Nachdem uns charmant und zuvorkommend die Schlüssel zu dem wunderbaren Anwesen überlassen wurden, startete der Urlaub augenblicklich. Der Pool war natürlich das Highlight. Die schattigen Plätzchen überall luden zum Entspannen ein; der Ausblick ins Grüne und die ruhige Lage taten ihr Übriges.Montpellier ist in Kürze erreichbar. Weitere Highlights sind Arles, Bèziers und Nimes und viele kleine Bergdörfer. Den Wein der Region solltet ihr probieren! Die Gegend ist voller guter Restaurants (z.B.in Saint-Gély du Fesc Le Clos des Oliviers). Alles in allem ein Fleckchen Frankreich wo man selbst gerne zu Hause wäre!!! Jederzeit wieder! We spent wonderful two weeks at Monique and Joel's house. After a charming and courteous welcome keys were handed over to us and our holiday immediately kicked in. Of course the highlight was the pool. Shady spots under olive trees invited us to enjoy relaxing moments with a cool drink and enjoy the view of the countryside and the garden, tranquility did the rest. The village is just a five minute walk away. Montpellier is around the corner. Further Highlights are Arles, Bèziers, Nimes and numerous mountain villages. You'll definitely enjoy the local wine, no matter if white, rosé or red. The region is blessed with nice restaurants, e.g. Les Clos des Oliviers in Saint-Gély du Fesc. Foucou's house is a wonderful place, a place you'd like to call your own.

Que du bonheur !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Monique. Nous étions 2 familles avec 4 enfants de 5 et 8 ans. Ils ont adoré la maison et la piscine autant que nous. La terrasse est magnifique avec sa vue sur la colline. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut dans la maison et tout est très proche. Nous y retournerons très volontiers.

Belle bastide provençale

Belle maison bien située pour découvrir la région si riche en tout genre d'activités. La grande piscine est la bienvenue pour se rafraichir. Les propriétaires sont charmants et prompts à vous donner tout tuyau et adresse utiles.
