PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS

*This is a fantastic 3000+ sf, 6 bedroom and 5 bathroom Lake Michigan beach house located 1.5 miles north of Jacksonport on a large lot with direct access to one of the most desirable sand beach shorelines in Door County.

*In addition to a spacious dining room and living room with a wood burning fireplace, the house has a bonus second story sitting room for relaxing and reading with beautiful water views. The lower level also has a family room with an additional TV - perfect for kids.

*This home has a glorious sand and swimming beach with miles to walk-both north and south - all private homes.

*VIews are spectacular views and the waters edge playground with sunrises and stargazing second to none.

*Enjoy lazy days on the beach or sunning on the large deck followed by cookouts on the grill and s'mores at the bonfire.

*Sandy Shores accommodates a total of 14 in 6 bedrooms. Bed linens and bath towels are provided.

Second Floor - Bedroom #1 -Queen bed w/private bath, Bedroom #2 -Three (3) twin beds and an additional full bath

Main floor - Bedroom #3-Queen bed w/private bath, Bedroom #4- Two twin beds, Bedroom #5-Queen bed and a shared full bath.

Lower level – Bedroom #6 Two twin beds, one queen size futon in family room, and one full bath.

*The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for preparing and serving meals including a dishwasher and an additional refrigerator in the garage.

Just a mile+ south in downtown Jacksonport you will enjoy Bleys Grocery Store, 'Lil Bit of Coffee, Island Fever, Mikes Port Pub, and Jacksonport Bakery. Peninsula Kayak offers paddle boards and kayaks to rent and will deliver to the house!

Great relaxing family getaway

Amazing location right on a beautiful beach. Quiet, secluded neighborhood but a quick drive to restaurants, shops, parks across Door County. Home was very clean and host was very accommodating. We would love to stay again!

More than we hoped for !

This place had everything we could possibly want in a vacation home. The beach was amazing! We had plenty of space for the 14 of us. The house had every convenience we would have hoped for. It was well stocked with everything we needed, and a lot of extras. We hope we can stay there again!

Nice vacation house but needed better cleaning

We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable beds and living quarters. The only complaint was it could have been cleaner. Bathrooms and kitchen needed better cleaning!! Appliances were dirty and the kitchen had ants. Won’t be staying here again.

Door County Getaway for Family

As grandparents we set this up for our children and grandchildren and us. 5 children ages 3-12. Total of 11 people. Being directly on the beach with private area was perfect. Spent time on beach every day. Also good location for attractions for ages all over the peninsula. Clean, everything worked, had to contact management once and that went smooth. I would highly recommend this rental.

Fall getaway with friends

Group of four couples had a wonderful stay at this relaxing and well-appointed centrally located property with beautiful views of the water. We enjoyed watching the sunrise, walking the beach, sitting by the campfire, and exploring the area restaurants, trails, and shopping. We would certainly stay at this property again.

The home we absolutely perfect for our family of 12 (from across the US) to gather and enjoy. It was spacious and well furnished, from comfy beds, extra linens/blankets, dishes, cookware, and games. We especially loved the beachside fire pit at night. Kris (host) was a great communicator.

An amazing place!

I would certainly go back to Sandy Shores. The home was spacious and clean. Watching the lake from inside as well as out make for a very relaxing space a wonderful place to share and be together. Early morning beach walking, campfires in the evening and the beautiful sky of stars at night makes this place and it's location very special.

Perfect multi family stay

We had 5 different couples and a few kids staying at this property, and it was perfect! The house has multiple sitting areas and plenty of space at the dining table, so we never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The out door area was also just what we wanted - relaxing deck, enough yard for beersbee, perfect fire pit, and easy access to the beach. The beds were comfortable, house was well stocked with supplies, and the checkout process was simple. We're already looking at dates for next summer and we're not shocked that it's booking up quickly.

Location was the highlight of this property

The property is older and could use some updating (if that is important to guests). Due to COVID, we didn't spend a lot of time inside, so it didn't really matter. The location was the highlight, being right on the shore of the lake. We made good use of the firepit (included wood was a bonus). Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We would stay again.

Great location and property

First time visiting the property and we enjoyed it so much we are looking at dates for next fall to bring larger family for annual trip. Great location, right on the beach, pretty quiet and secluded although it is later in September. Unfortunately, we forgot to leave a message in the guest book for the next visitors!

Wonderful communication from day one! Amazingly equipped property. The photos do not do this place justice. Such an amazing secluded spot, just minutes from everything. Perfect for our family gathering of 12. Don’t pass this one by!
