Nestled in the woods at the peak of the mountain, 5CC comes furnished with nice decorative touches and even an interior HOT TUB surrounded by rock for the cold winter evenings!

1 bedroom features a king-sized bed with luxury sheets, cozy bedding, and fluffy towels ensure your comfort. You choose between the pullout couch downstairs or the brand new self-inflating air mattress accompanied with sheets and it's own bedding for the kiddos. There's a full bathroom with a shower, tub, hair dryer and plenty of space. Gas grill and outside covered swing and seating allow you to take in the views while relaxing before you head back indoors to hop in the indoor hot tub while watching the sun set over the mountains.

It's a cook's kitchen stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil you may want. We also offer complimentary coffee, filters, sugar, tea and a variety of spices to make your grocery store trip a little lighter.

Smart TV's with WIFI for streaming are located in the living room and bedroom, and lots of games, books, and puzzles will make everyone happy. Office area with desk and chair make remote work or Zoom school a breeze.

Conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Cherry Log, you can choose a range of activities from hiking to waterfalls, dining out at fabulous local restaurants, riding the Blue Ridge Scenic railway, there's even a local business that will let you drive a tank! Pick some apples, enjoy an amazing fried pie, or grab some mountain decor at one of our favorite places Mercier Orchards which is just a short drive away. There's so much to do in this beautiful area, you'll never be bored!

Lovely weekend getaway!

An overall fantastic stay! We got to the cabin later at night, and the host was quick to fix a problem we had during the check-in process. The inside of the cabin was spotless and beautifully laid out! The host provided clean sheets, towels, and a stocked kitchen. Our favorite part was the hot tub which was clean, easy to use, and sat in front of beautiful mountain views. Although the overall stay was fantastic there were some things that should be noted: the smoke detectors in the living areas were completely disconnected and missing. There was no body wash, shampoo, or conditioner provided. There was no coffee provided as advertised. The road getting to the cabin is very steep! Totally worth it and we were able to easily access it with our 4-wheel drive truck, but we felt this was important for people to be aware of. Overall fantastic stay! We loved our trip to five cubs cabin. We would definitely book again and recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway!

The cabin has a wonderful view. It was a perfect distance from Blue Ridge. The owner did a wonderful job addressing a few issues we had!

December stay

It was alright. Downstairs TV needed a code to access anything (didn’t bother contacting anyone since we were really only there to sleep). One night a fire alarm started beeping because of low battery. Another night it sounded like a critter was in the wall. The bed was hard. The drive to the cabin has some steep roads. The view was pretty from the porch.

Nightmare on Tom Tom

So first of all, I walked into a dark black web upon opening the door. When my girlfriend noticed after we walked in, she brought it to my attention that the dark web was still there. OK, that’s nature we thought. Then, we found that we were having difficulty breathing because although it sounds nice to have a hot tub inside, the mold and stench really does affect the air quality. So, we opened the windows, which had nice screens on them. We looked up through what would be nice skylights but they were covered with mold. The bathroom shower liner and the cover to the hot tub were slimy and dirty. The shower did not drain. The towels were old. Thank goodness we brought our own clean ones. The silver wear had food stuck to it. A wine glass had some sort of cereal or something attached to it. So, we left to go to town with our dogs to get some fresh air. When we got back, the door would not open. So, we contacted the owners and they were very responsive and let us in. As soon as we got back in, we saw that my $100 Anchor charging station was missing from the wall, along with all of the adapters I had for my Garmin that that I use for hiking and my phone. Interesting how that would be there when we left and missing upon our return, never to be seen again after we unpacked and repacked several times looking for it. Only a few wasp nests. Beautiful spot though, with gorgeous views out the balcony, and close to town. This place has potential if they clean it up.
