​​​​​​​Located right off Century Drive, this home is in a peaceful neighborhood just walking distance to downtown Bend, restaurants, Drake Park and grocery store/bakeries. Washer/dryer/laundry soap, shampoos, conditioner, body soap, coffee maker/coffee, TV/VCR/DVD player with movies, garage for parking, and ping pong table.

Master bedroom with queen bed and full bath. Second and third bedrooms with shared bathroom can be completely closed off from living area. One bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin on top and a double on the bottom. The other bedroom has a queen bed. Enjoy a outdoor dining area.

Please note, if you choose to book with this home, you will be receiving a separate rental agreement that will need to be electronically signed before your stay

When we arrived our entry code didn't work. As we were working on it, I heard water running on the side of the house and found the garden hose running full blast and a big pool of water by the hot tub. The wi-fi did not work when we arrived which was a problem because both of us had work video conferences in the morning. We finally got it going without much help from the caretaker. So, a really bad start, but then things improved. The house was nice, in a good neighborhood, close to the whole Galveston scene and it has a nice kitchen/dining room/living room open space.

Great Location and Communications with the Management Company

Choose the house due to location near the breweries and house was as advertised. A few hiccups occurred while we were there and the management company was very responsive to help find a resolution and fix. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of walking, Thank you!

Nice place!

We liked how well the kitchen was stocked and the furniture was comfortable. We did enjoy the ping pong. It really is a nice place. Only 1 critique would be the master room mattress needs to be replaced.

The cottage is just right for two couples plus. The location is convenient for mountain, river, and town. The only limitation is kitchen gear--we had to buy several items to cook. Otherwise, a good place.

Cozy and comforting

Our family had to gather in Bend for several days to attend to a serious family matter, so we needed a house that was calm and quiet. This house provided us a place to relax after some long, hard days. We appreciated its cleanliness, amenities, and walkability. We may be back to Bend in the near future and would definitely stay in this house again.

Amazing vacation, amazing customer service!

The Huckleberry Cottage was very nice - spacious, well-decorated, tons of amenities (best smart TV I've ever seen) with a top notch kitchen. But what set this apart was the customer service! Any question I had was quickly and delightfully answered. I really appreciate that!!

Great getaway in the heart of Bend!

We had a lovely 5-night stay at Huckleberry Cottage! The location is ideal; close to tubing, the ampitheater, the Old Mill District, downtown and tons of great restaurants. The house is in a nice, very quiet neighborhood where we enjoyed walking our dog. We loved the openess and flow of the kitchen, dining table and living room - a perfect space for hanging out together as a family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were super comfy and the amazing AC was a blessing during some very hot weather. We appreciated the great email communication and the seamless check-in and check-out. We'd stay here again!

Decent location, horrible beds

The house itself has a good layout for groups. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and is relatively walkable to many areas of Bend. Ultimately, the price is way too high for how dated the rental is; it could use some major updates. The worst part was how uncomfortable the beds are. Every mattress was hard as a rock and the frames were squeaky. No one in our party slept well and we nearly cut our stay short because of how uncomfortable they were.

Great house located near many restaurants, parks and stores.

We were using the house mostly for sleeping. We were helping my grandson move from college to his new job in Bend. Inside the house was nicer than we expected. Bathrooms, bedrooms and the kitchen/family room were very clean. The kitchen had everything you may need to make big breakfasts and dinners. When we return to Bend to visit him or for a vacation we will definitely look to see if this place is available. The front yard needs to be better maintained. We heard it is scheduled to be updated.

Cozy Cottage in Bend

Upon arrival at the Huckleberry Cottage, you can't help but notice its lack of curb appeal. A new exterior paint job and some front yard landscaping would go a very long way. Despite this, we loved this cozy cottage's location as the neighborhood is lovely with food and drink options within walking distance. The cottage worked well for our family of 5 and had everything you could ask for including the essentials in the kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub and it was great to store gear in the garage. The cottage was clean upon arrival with the exception of the outdoor areas, the deck and front porch were overdue for a good wash/blow off.
