Cozy four season chalet located in the heart of the Poconos in Towamensing Trails, a private lake community that has a pool and lake with beach access. Escape to a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and wildlife. This comfortable chalet is perfect for families, couples or anyone looking to unwind and recharge in the mountains. The house has spacious living area equipped with all the comforts of home, including four bedrooms, game room, large deck with propane grill, gas fireplace and TVs in all bedrooms. The finished basement has a ping pong table, foosball, air hockey table and TV with DVD, A washer and dryer are in the basement utility room.
Close proximity to the ski areas of Big Boulder, Jack Frost, Blue Mountain and Camelback. Local activities include hiking, skiing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fishing.(PA license required for fishing), 15 min from the Pocono Race Track and 3 area golf courses and close to the Casino. Hickory Run and Beltsville state park that allows boats nearby. Tanger Outlets located within 30 minutes. Please note that boats and kayaks are not permitted by guests on private lake in Towamensing Trails. Renters must be 28 years of age or older to rent. A maximum of 8 badges (INCLUDED WITH RENTAL) are allowed by the association for the amenities at the lake/pool and clubhouse. Guests may purchase two additional badges for $10.00 per day.

* Fire pits and fireworks prohibited in Towamensing Trails.
*Rental agreement is to be signed by renter by email.
* Vehicle passes are included in reservation fee. A form from office is required to receive vehicle passes. Form requires license plate numbers and
states of the vehicles staying at the property.
* Upon departure, guests must take trash to drop off location.

You know that moment when you arrive at a rental property and you hold your breath not knowing what to expect on the other side of the door? Well for me - the other side of the door instantly filled me to the brim with peace and joy! The house was amazing, clean, smelled fresh and inviting. It was just the kind of entrance I needed to start out much needed holiday getaway. My family were all happy and very comfortable. My parents spent their time snuggled up in front of the fireplace and I lived in the basement game room. This was the perfect getaway space - “a home away from home” in my mother’s words.

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Clean, spacious, and a kitchen with all the things you might need to cook meals for the family. Great deck with plenty of room. Lots of wildlife in the area - we saw deer, a black bear, fox, and chipmunks, A fun time for all!

Nice place and location

We enjoyed our stay at the house, it had plenty of cooking items so that we could enjoy meals together. It was very clean, and from the house we could see wildlife such as deer and bears. It was just about 30 minutes to an hour from most things you would want to visit in the Poconos, so we felt it was a good location. We enjoyed the pool and lake one day as well.

Awesome house

We had a great time. This was a holiday celebration for a family that is spreading out across the country. House is clean, basement is fun with ping pong, foosball, and air hockey. We saw a lot of deer. Owner had the house decorated for Christmas which was great.

Our family of adult children and teenagers had a great long weekend getaway "snowcation". Dave and Kim were the absolute best hosts we have ever had. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the boys loved the game room downstairs. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals for our large family all weekend.

Trash disposal hours are: Sat/Sun: 7:00am - 7:00pm Mon/Wed/Fri: 7:00am - 7:00pm Tues/Th: 11:00am - 7:00pm Hours are in the instructions to the house and are posted on the bulletin board in the kitchen. If checkout is on a Tuesday or Thursday, consider disposing trash on evening prior to checkout if departing before disposal hours.

Lovely neighborhood

We appreciated that the house had a basement full of games (football, air hockey and table tennis). The couch and beds were very comfy. We loved being able to eat outside on the patio. It was lovely to have swimmable lake and pool in the community a short drive away. It would have been helpful to know the house didn’t provide a weeks worth of TP and paper towels. .

Great family get away

We were looking for a place that would accommodate our family. Most of the week there were 6 of us but for a couple of days we were 10. This home was large enough to accommodate all of us. The game room was a huge hit. Had a great time at the pool and the beach. All in all a perfect place to relax. Thank you Kim and Dave.

Enjoyable, relaxing vacation with family

This rental exceeded our expectations. Our 3 young children loved the house, especially playing in the game room downstairs, checking out the different puzzles and games, or just hanging out watching tv in the living room. This was a great base for us to explore the nearby lake (paddle boating was fun) and take day trips to Knoebels, Hickory Run State Park, horseback riding at Daisy Field Farm, and other fun activities. Kim was great and responded promptly to any questions or concerns we had.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay however, we feel that we could have been told that the basement was not heated. The game room was located in the basement. There was a thermostat on the main floor, but if you set it higher, the other floors get too warm. Other than that, the house was clean and cozy!
