The room we were in was not as it appeared from the photo’s in the listing. We expected and booked what we believed was a beachfront unit. Our unit was a 5 minute drive to the beach. We also didn’t realize the photos were not taken from our unit.

Two main items. First - The rooms for this booking are not assigned until you check into South Seas. While the pictures show oceanfront rooms, you could be in a bay side villa (which we were - see pic). Still a good view but the pictures and descriptions are misleading.Second - there was NO in unit washer and dryer as indicated in the listing pictures/descriptions. There might be units that have these, but ours did not so beware.As for South Seas as a whole, great resort and amenities and our rating is more a reflection of them versus the listing for this unit. Staff was helpful and friendly. If they were separate, I would give this host 2 stars for misleading pictures and descriptions and the resort 5 stars.There is some construction going on at the resort for a new spa and fitness center so some noise and construction traffic to navigate but not a big deal.

Paradise

Location was beautiful! We could walk to everything. Drunks were pricey at the pool bar. Unit needs a few items (pot holders, kitchen sponge and towel). Tried to ask housekeeper but none of them understood English. Otherwise great place!
