Ballintoy Beach Cottage, Secluded Seaside Getaway, Causeway Coast Location

You won’t find many locations in the world, let alone Northern Ireland, to rival the spectacular setting of our traditionally styled, secluded Beach Cottage. Ballintoy is famous for its picturesque church, 19th century harbour, small sandy beaches and more recently as a film location for several scenes in the, award winning, Game of Thrones television series. Our cottage is perched on the side of a cliff, overlooking the beach. You don’t get much closer to nature than this wonderful location where you will wake up to the sun rising, across the ocean, from behind Rathlin Island.

Apart from sporting activities, golf, water sports, walking, cycling, angling and horse riding, visitors have access to The Magnificent Seven Must Sees (Causeway Coast and Glens) on their doorstep – Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, Dark Hedges, Downhill Demesne and Hezlett House, Dunluce Castle, The Nine Glens of Antrim, Bushmills Distillery with the opportunity to discover a whole lot more.

Enjoy the warmth and home comforts offered by this accommodation as you absorb the beauty of the dramatic surroundings on your doorstep as well as that of the North Antrim Coastline and beyond.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Return yard keys to key holder in hallway. Check all personal possessions have been taken.
Notify housekeeper of any faults, breakages or additional items removed from linen cupboard.
Ensure central heating control is sitting at ‘Auto’.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Young children must be supervised on outside area at all times - there is a drop onto a grass area from open deck or onto lane from parking area.
Permission must be sought to host visitors (including pets) at the property and is at the discretion of the owner. Four persons maximum please.
Ensure contact details (email and telephone) are correct. Failure to respond to messages, email or calls will result in the booking being cancelled.

From when you approach the property, you know you are going to have a great stay. Location is just magical; the attention to detail, inside and out, speaks for itself. From the quality of the bed linen to the bathroom products, it just makes your stay feel special. The new patio area and decking with glass balustrade gives you an uninterrupted view of the beach and sea, a lovely place to sit at any time of day or night.

Beautiful Northern Ireland Beach Cottage

Loved our stay in this incredible location in a clean, modern well-appointed cottage. Perfect location for visiting Dunluce Castle, Giant's Causeway, and Dark Hedges. Our rope bridge adventure was cancelled due to weather, but we still had a lovely stay at this home.

A wonderful place to stay. Comfortable and clean with amazing views and a beach on your doorstep. Owners were very helpful. Great location for Giants Causeway and other interesting places. What an amazing place you have! We loved every minute of our stay. The view was excellent and it was hard to leave to go see the sights. The only downside was that we had to leave. But, we hope to be back someday.

What an Amazing location!!! The cottage itself is appointed and decorated in a lovely manner. We loved our breakfast looking out over the sea. We were blessed with viewing several rainbows. It was very convenient for seeing Giant’s Causeway and the rope bridge.

The location, and the stay itself were absolutely epic. The owners were lovely and we could not have picked a better place to stay over our elopement. We had plans to have our wedding photos taken at the Giant’s Causeway but the location of the cottage was so stunning, we opted to come back to the cottage instead! Little piece of heaven

This cottage has everything and all to very high standard. Spotlessly clean and very modern. The owners Louise and John are just lovely and were extremely helpful, as was the housekeeper Susan. The location is really private and so blissful you won't want to leave. So pleased we have another stay booked, can't wait to return.
