The cottage is located 1 KM from the sandy beach of St Laurent sur mer, in the heart of Bessin, 2km from the dunes. You can practice sailing, catamaran, sand yachting, horse riding, fishing on foot, hiking, and much more ...

The location is ideal in the heart of the Landing sites, the American Cemetery of Colleville sur Mer, a world famous landmark, Port en Bessin one of the most important French fishing port, Bayeux and its famous tapestry just 15 km away, a little further Caen, capital of Lower Normandy ..... Fishing ponds also await you, the marshes, and many other activities ....

A relaxing holiday in a fantastic location

The house was impeccably clean with some excellent equipment. However it would have been improved by having a kettle. Also we were surprised by the lack of towels and had to rush to Bayeux to buy some, and by having to make up our own beds particularly having paid extra for bedding.The walk down to the beach is lovely and there are one or two pleasant places to stop for a drink along the beach. Normandy has a wealth of history and there are many fabulous places to visit in the area. A comfortable holiday home that is good value for money but be prepared for careful inventory of everything on departure.

Cher Mrs Gilchrist Pour la bouilloire personne ne nous la déclamer car nous avons d'autres moyens de faire chauffer de l'eau mais nous allons en rajouter une. Nous proposons en option comme indiquer dans l'annonce que le linge de lit et non le linge de toilette donc vous ne pouviez pas l'avoir à votre arrivée, nous en sommes désolés. En ce qui concerne l'inventaire malheureusement nous sommes obligés de procéder ainsi dû a plusieurs locataires indélicats avant l'instauration de cet inventaire. Je trouve que votre note de 3 étoiles est un peu sévère.

Even weg uit de drukte

We hebben last minute geboekt en dat verliep vrij snel, nadat de betaling rond was. Huisje was schoon, tuin omheind en ideaal voor een gezin met kinderen en hond. Voor meer dan 4 personen is de zithoek wel krap. Voor de rest was het huisje compleet ingericht!

Mittendrin in der Geschichte

Das Haus ist in einer top Lage zur Besichtigung der Strände der Libération. Sehr gepflegtes Grundstück und sehr sauberes Haus. Die Besitzer haben uns empfangen, waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert - alles Bestens! Es gibt wenig Märkte ... aber: Port en Bessin am Sonntag Vormittag mit einem tollen Fischmarkt und weiteren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Trevières am Freitag ... im Herbst zumindest sehr überschaubar.

5 Männer, eine Woche Bildungsurlaub 5 hommes, une semaine de congé d'études

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig am Ortsrand. Wir waren vom 01. bis 08. Juni 19 da. E-Mail-Kontakt / Mietvertrag ausschließlich in französischer Sprache. Der Kontakt mit der Hausverwalterin per SMS dank Google-Übersetzer ok. Das Haus ist zentral zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten bzgl. der Landung der Alliierten in der Normandie. Zum Omaha Beach sind es 1,5 Km. Parkmöglichkeiten für bis zu 3 PKW vor dem Haus auf dem umzäunten Grundstück. In der Garage sind Gartenmöbel inkl. Sonnenschirm und Freizeitspiele gelagert. Terasse und gut gepflegter Rasen laden zum draußen sitzen / spielen ein. Es sind viele Steckdosen u. USB-Ladeanschlüsse da. WLAN läuft super. Wir waren mit 5 Mann da. Inventar u. Ausstattung waren in sauberem, ordentlichen Zustand und völlig ausreichend. Mit der Hausverwalterin sind wir gut klar gekommen. Das Geld für die Endreinigung lohnt. Nach Durchsicht der besenreinen Räume, gab es die Kaution anstandslos zurück. Alles in allem ist das Ferienhaus sehr zu empfehlen. Ein paar Punkte, die für den ein oder anderen störend sein können. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, nur eine Toilette für 5 Mann. Die Grills sind "auf". J.D. La maison est très calme à la périphérie. Nous y étions du 1 au 8 juin 19. Contact e-mail / contrat de location en français uniquement. Le contact avec le gardien par SMS grâce au traducteur Google ok. La maison est située au centre de nombreuses attractions concernant le débarquement des Alliés en Normandie. La plage d'Omaha est à 1,5 km et un parking pour 3 voitures devant la maison sur le terrain clôturé. Dans le garage, des meubles de jardin comprenant un parasol et des jeux sont rangés. La terrasse et la pelouse bien entretenue vous invitent à vous asseoir dehors / à jouer. Il y a beaucoup de prises de courant u. Ports de chargement USB là-bas. Wi-Fi est génial. Nous étions là avec 5 hommes. Inventaire u. Les installations étaient propres, bien rangées et parfaitement adéquates. Nous nous sommes bien entendus avec le gardien. L'argent pour le nettoyage final en vaut la peine. Après avoir examiné les salles blanches balayées, le dépôt a été restitué sans hésitation. Dans l'ensemble, la maison est fortement recommandée. Quelques points qui peuvent être gênants pour l’un ou l’autre. La maison est très bruyante, seulement des toilettes pour 5 hommes. Les barbecues sont "ouverts". J.D.

Superbe vacances dans ce gite

La maison est très bien située dans un lotissement très calme. Nous sommes tout prêt de plusieurs sites historique comme la pointe du hoc, le cimetière américain et les batteries etc.... La mer est à 1 mn en voiture l'idéal. L'accueil est très sympathique. La location qui entièrement close est équipée de tout le nécessaire pour passer de bon moment en famille et dans un état impeccable de propreté. Nous vous recommandons sans souci cette location.

Maison très fonctionnelle, spacieuse et bien penser sur un terrain entièrement clos, idéal pour les enfants. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. La cuisine est très bien équipée et moderne. La maison est super bien située dans un lotissement très calme et de plus vu de la mer sur la terrasse. Je la conseille sans problème.
