Holly Cottage is a beautiful, renovated traditional English cottage that has been extended to become a 3 bedroom home. Inside it has a contemporary open-plan style with solid wood floors, wood-burning stove (logs are provided) and custom-made shutters on the windows. It's light, airy and has lovely energy to it. It has high-speed WI-FI throughout. It has 3 double bedrooms.
The main bedroom has an ornamental Victorian fireplace, double bed and overlooks fields for as far as the eye can see. The second bedroom/office has a double bed and also a stand-up adjustable desk, large glass whiteboard on one wall and is the perfect bedroom/office space. This second bedroom also overlooks nature and the fields opposite. Both rooms are very sunny, bright and 'happy bedrooms'. The third is a little smaller but still double.
The bathroom/toilet has a bath/shower, with tiled floor and walls and always lovely hot water.
The kitchen/dining area is open-plan with Italian granite worktops. The lounge/snug has a large TV, double sofa-bed and the wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery etc.
There is plenty of storage space with built-in cupboards in the hallway, as well as a very handy cupboard under the stairs.
The garden is a patio/paved garden that is very easy to maintain. There is also a shed in the garden and outside hot/cold taps for rinsing off dirty wellies.
There are 2 parking spaces right outside the cottage and although anyone can in theory park here - they very rarely do as the neighbours each have their own parking spaces.
There are just a few neighbours to the left and right of the property - all of whom are very lovely.
Our cottage is a perfect environment for solo guests, couples or small families. By crossing our very quiet road, you have access to public footpaths, fields, into the nearby Ockwells Park and beyond - it's a beautiful location for everyone!
The cottage is very close to the A404 and M4 and just 5 minutes drive from Maidenhead Town Centre, 10 minutes from Windsor, 11 minutes from Marlow and is ideally located so that transport links are incredibly easy and yet the cottage is situated in a quiet, country setting with amazing nature walks.
Lillibrooke Manor is opposite the cottage; which is an award winning Grade 2 listed venue for weddings - so occasionally you will see amazing firework displays from the lounge and upstairs bedroom windows!

Hi I'm Claudine and bought Holly Cottage back in 2014. I have decided to share our home with others who will take good care of it and treat it not as a rental property - but as their home.
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with this cottage when i first saw it and wanted to bring it back to life again. Building work took close to a year and the entire inside was stripped back and the cottage extended and fully renovated in 2015.
