A large-screen, soundproofed private cinema will further enhance the many entertainment possibilities offered within this stunning property.

The large living space with a wet bar, sofas and a fireplace, is connected to a dining area and an ultra-modern kitchen with centre island, fully equipped with professional appliances and tools. An entire floor is dedicated to a spacious living room with wet bar, a games room, a TV room and an elegant study to welcome guests to the chalet. To top it off, the chalet includes a master bedroom suite with king-size bed, 2 walk-in closets, a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and a fireplace.

Perfect for our needs. We had 8 adults and fit comfortably. The deck area is a great place to hang out together since it does lack a living area with couches. The host is extremely accommodating and is a wealth of information if you need some ideas of what to see and do. We were a short drive away to the train station in La Spezia where we took the train into CinqueTerre on two days. Very fun!

This property was very comfortable and spacious. The views from the patio are wonderful. Angelo was an amazing host - always responsive and very helpful with recommendations and even ordering food! If you have a car, the location is great; if you have to rely on public transportation, you need to plan a little more carefully. The bus stop is right out front, but they don't run very late from town, and there are few shops within walking distance. It is relatively easy to get to the train station and port (for boat trips).

Beautiful apartment with warm and welcoming hosts. We selected this location to stay close to our Cinque Terre boat trip the following morning. The only drawback to this wonderful apartment is that it lacks AC and we arrived later in the day and the hosts had to open all of the storm shutters and windows to cool the apartment when we arrived. We ended up having to leave the windows open all night and the mopeds on the street below were quite loud, so not the best nights sleep. There was a restaurant street level which was very convenient the following morning.

Angelo and his wife were great hosts for us! We had a group of 12 college kids hoping to travel to Cinque Terre for the weekend. Angelo provided us with a lot of information and made our trip as comforting as possible. The home was very clean and the terrace has magnificent views! We spent most of our nights on the terrace enjoying the view of the city. They answered all our questions within minutes and came over to greet us and make sure we got settled in! I would absolutely stay here again!!

Seven of us stayed here as our base for visiting Cinque Terre. We drove to the location which was relatively easy to get to by Italian standards. The host Angelo is a great help when it comes to directions and recommendations. We had no issues as he met our group at check in. The penthouse apartment is as described in the listing. The patio is awesome place to hang out! Our host guided us to an agritourismo restaurant operated by his friend. It was fantastic! Would stay here again!

Comfortable rooms and a great view

This was a great place to stay as we arrived in Italy. We wanted to visit Cinque Terre and were a large group (8 people). Our flights were delayed and Angelo kept in communication and met us when we arrived at midnight. He made good suggestions on how to navigate the ferry and parking. He then kept in communication with us the entire visit. He was extremely helpful. This apartment is great, the only downfall is the noise at night. However, that is out of Angelo's control. It is a city location and the scooters outside remind you that they are there. The other nice thing about this property is the cafe and store on the first floor. The cafe was good. The store had everything you need from fruit and bakery to a deli. They also had travel necessities in case you left something at home. The deck outside of the apartment has a great view.

Our group enjoyed staying just a short way(10 minutes by car or bus) from La Spezia. We had available parking nearby, with bus stop available at the front door of the vrbo. A short 10 minute bus to La Spezia takes you to the ferry! The host was super—very informative, with a lot of knowledge and suggestions for the visit! Molto Bene!!!

Nice clean home, very helpful owner, may be difficult without car

The house is clean and well equipped with a lovely view. The owner is very responsive and nice. The bar below and local market were good to have. We enjoyed breakfasts on the porch both mornings. We were traveling without a car and intending to come home from Cinque Terre after bus hours both evenings, looking for a taxi back from La Spezia station. I am told it is not usual, but it was nearly impossible to find taxis (we called, asked a hotel for help and waited at the taxi stand where we were told). We waited for over an hour and there were other travelers in similar situation. This location would be fine for someone with a car or who intends to come back during earlier hours, otherwise I might advise that you stay someplace within walking distance of train station. Only other issue was that it was quite hot while we were there and it was stuffy to have all the doors/windows closed while sleeping. It would have been lovely to have a cross breeze by having them open, but would be very hard to sleep due to significant road noise below.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Great patio and view! Angelo very helpful and responding to our needs and gave us great information. There is a really good market below with fresh produce and groceries. We also ate at the pizzaria below apartment. They had great cappuccinos! You can take a bus to train station easily to go to the Cinque Terre villages. I highly recommend.

What a view!

Just like the photo there is an amazing view from this unit. Our group of seven ladies was busy but we made time to enjoy the deck. There is lots of space for a larger group and Angelo was so accommodating in adding some extra beds for us. Angelo went above and beyond in providing great travel information and with his concern for our lost traveller. The downstairs bar and the local grocery store were very handy and friendly. The bus came regularly ,out front of the building ,to take you downtown and to the train station. A great place to stay away from the bustle of the city.

Perfect place for a family reunion

We wanted to be close enough to Cinque Terre and other places of interest, but there were 11 of us, so accommodation was hard to find, to meet our needs. This was perfect. Fantastic panoramic views of La Spezia. An elevator for the older generation! A mini market next door. Angelo, the host was most helpful before and during our stay, and contactable via whatsapp. We loved catching the bus into La Spezia with the locals. We felt we got to experience true Italian culture

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for Cinque Terre. Bus goes from doorstep to boat launch. Here you are family.

We had a reservation for 11 to stay for our visit to Cinque Terre. The penthouse is maticulously clean with beautiful views from the terrace while dining at night. Cappuccino and fresh croissants are available on the bottom floor in the morning. A mini market is next door for your take away meals and inexpensive water, though the tap is clean and suitable. We went for the sole purpose of seeing Cinque Terre. We caught the early boat and the last one back! Angelo guided us through every step from purchasing our bus tickets for our stay with a discount and getting us back for our train on departure. Angelo and his family greet you with the best olive oil we had ever tasted from their private farm. You have an English speaking friend that will help you should any questions or problems arise. When you go, you feel like you’re leaving family and are a bit sad for the parting. We can’t recommend this accommodation enough. The communication before our arrival and during our stay was unmatched. Angelo went far above and beyond to care for our group, including ordering us the best Italian pizza and getting us wine for our late arrival dinner. The in house laundry, comfortable beds, and elevator for luggage/people, make this place idyllic. The fully stocked kitchen makes any cooking a breeze. We were an all women travel team aging from 11-72. Angelo was truly our knight in shining armor. The number of questions we had were ridiculous, but we never felt like a burden and were always met with details, photos, schedules, and kindness. Don’t stay in one of the 5 villages. Save your euros for shopping in Cinque Terre. Stay a little out of town and enjoy the views from the shuttle boat. Start at the farthest village and work your way back to La Spezia. You’ll be wiped at the end of the day and so happy for the beauty and charm you’ve experienced. If you miss a boat, pay the 4 euros and take the train. You’ll catch the bus back to the house. The driver can notify you if your stop, but we always had a local more than happy to assist us. We always felt safe. Thank you, Angelo for all the ways you took care of us. We all know first hand how wonderful Itialians are. When we return, it will not be as guests, rather as old friends. In the meantime, we will savor the olive oil we got to take and hold all the memories in our hearts. You made Cinque Terre our favorite stop on our 15 day European tour. Grazie!!!

For some years we have a new house 2 km from here, in the hills above: We have 13,000 meters of land with 250 olive trees, we always offer a taste of our excellent and genuine olive oil to our guests. We are proud of our properties and we are attentive to every need of our guests. Because we are local, we deal with our guests directly from the delivery of the keys, repairs, but also rescue for small problems, advice, information, little aid. Our penthouse is fully furnished and equipped with all the comforts of home!

Why they chose this property

Buonviaggio has always been synonymous with good wishes, even finding an escape from danger. In fact, in ancient times it was accessed from the district of Marcantone, now incorporated in the center of Migliarina, the meaning speaks for itself: canton ill, that place infested by brigands. So having reached the height of Buonviaggio meant at the time can now count on a smooth and safe journey inland Lunigianese and Parma, the goal of trade between the salt, olive oil and fish (local products) and flour and the meats of the interior. From the hill on Buonviaggio you throw a last glance to the enchanting Gulf of Poets (Byron & Shelley, but also Lawrence, George Sand and other names of Italian and European art and literature have contributed their appreciation and stay in this denomination pronounced for the first time by Sem Benelli in 1910) and already sighted the Alps, Apuan Alps famous marble from which it is drawn by the pride of the works of the great sculptors and that the whole world envies us.
From the terrace of our. structure you can see just one last look at the sea of the Gulf with its marina and military and venture out with his gaze to the white splendor of Apuan marble, looking forward to the journey through the ancient castles of Lunigiana. Even though useful and easy to cradle, with its distance of just 2.23 Km from the Railway Migliarina (with its free parking in the square in front of it lacks the Central Station) where you could get to walk with a walk, for really enjoy the Cinque Terre. The coastline of the Cinque Terre National Park is visited almost exclusively by train because of the difficulty of traffic and parking and being only 2 km from the station is ideal for a visit.

What makes this property unique

From the terrace you can see from the top the bells of the church of Our Lady of the cyclist (Madonna of Buoviaggio), the tourist and commercial port of La Spezia, the Apuan Alps. You can enjoy all summer for a great fresh natural that there has ever think of a conditioner. We are in the city but to the limits, including the nature, just a few hundred meters from the new Hospital of Felettino and practically on the new variant that links (it is still in completion) Lerici the extreme edge of the province to Genoa (the Valley of Vara) in practice in a few minutes you can scroll through the entire province without getting in city traffic jams. In a moment you enter the highway and can be reached in about an hour Genoa, Parma, Pisa and Florence, an excellent base for short trips in the cities. With free parking underneath the house and pool you can use the car (in La Spezia there are virtually no free parking) to go to the station Migliarina (2 km) and use the car park (still free) station to the Cinque Terre in 15 minutes (depending on the train schedules).
