Above the building, there is the Musée d'Aquitaine, which gathers objects and documents related to the history of Bordeaux and Aquitaine, from prehistory to the contemporary period. It includes the Centre Jean Moulin de Bordeaux and the Musée Goupil, whose collection it preserves.
The apartment is also close to all the other districts of the historic centre (Saint-Pierre, Sainte-Colombe, Saint-Michel and Sainte-Croix).
