We loved our stay here and highly recommend. The apartment is lovely, comfortable and very well equipped. We were easily able to get around on foot and public transportation.
Beautiful property that was in Central City. Very quite at night. Highly recommend

This property is excellently located in Bordeaux, convenient to virtually everywhere of interest. Having said that, there are some things a prospective renter should know: If you have a car, it is impossible to reach the apartment without a card allowing you to lower bollards on some roads. Upon arrival, Arthur who met us, had to bike out to meet us and get us through the bollard and to the garage. The garage space is quite small. The stairs to the apartment are very difficult with luggage. There is only one toilet, despite the property being described as having two bathrooms. One toilet, one shower. The apartment is located in an active part of the city, and the noise level is high: at night with revelers, and in the very early morning with street cleaning and trash collection. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but wish we had a better idea of what to expect.

Cons: Note: bedroom 2, bed is a Murphy bed & that room has street light shining in. Note: keyless entry poor customer service. Be careful...even once you pay a cleaning fee they tell you to take out garbage, strip beds, clean dishes & unload dishwasher etc before departing. We were there 1 month and provided with 3 dishwasher tablets, no washing machine detergent, half a roll of paper towels, only a few partially used rolls of toilet paper. We had the feeling that rarely did management come into the apartment to check all things over. The whole month we were there the cleaning people never came to clean! They left sheets & towels for us to change.Pros: Location..great. Restaurants, shopping & grocery stores all in easy access. Mass transit 1 block away & easy to learn. Repaired shower next day. Repaired modem next day. Security alarm: luckily we speak/read some French as it was all in French
Nice roomy apartment. Great city center location. Car free zone. Most major venues within walking distance. Also close to trams. Need to make clear taxi or Uber can not directly access unit and may have to walk a couple of blocks with luggage.
The apartment was very nice, pleasant, airy, well-appointed. The location is ideal: Right in the heart of bustling area, steps from St. Catherine. And yet it was hidden away so that it was peaceful at night. (With the exception of one night that the person in the apartment above paced the floor all night.) I would definitely stay there again.
Excellent location. Very nice apartment! Finding the key box was a challenge. Be aware that there are 27 steps from the entrance to the apartment on a narrow curving stone staircase.
The only thing slightly inaccurate about this listing is how amazing it is. Wonderfully located, historic, rare, well-appointed and completely modestly represented via its listing. A complete beauty! And the only misgiving is that you might get lost in all the living space that it provides! Très bien fait. Super et formidable!
We have stayed in many apartments in Bordeaux, Paris, and other areas of France in the past 15 years. This is probably the nicest of all.
The location is superb -- on a very quiet square between two major pedestrian streets, Rue Porte Dijeaux and Cours de l'Intendance. The apartment is extremely spacious, bright, and welcoming. Two large beds and a large dining table make it an ideal location to settle in. The kitchen is modern and extraordinarily large, with everything you need to cook dinners after shopping the Capucins or Chartrons markets.
There are many shops and cafés within very short walking distance, and the tram line is only a block away.
The downside for those with mobility issues is that it is located at the top of a long flight of stairs (old French buildings have high ceilings, so one flight is more like 1.5 to 2).
All in all, we loved our stay there and would VERY gladly return.
